I go this weekend and want to look stylish - not something I'm good at when travelling! Going from uk at 6am to 30c heat...!
Thank you!

I admire you for wanting to look stylish on a plane! I think leggings are perfect on planes, very loo friendly, very comfy. The last time I flew somewhere really hot from the UK I had a warm top for the flight, over a little summer T and the warm top went in my carry on bag when we landed. I find dresses a bit of a pain on planes, either too long and they get in the way or too short to let me relax or to sleep in. Maybe less of a problem if the flight is short haul though.

@ThatTidyDeer it would be the first time in 55 years and I'm going to give it a go 🤣🤣

Maxi dress with chub rub shorts underneath. No more precariously grabbing hold of trousers to avoid the toilet floor!

A micro-fleece. When you get back to Blighty , you'll be glad of it.

We flew to Greece in August, 6am flight from Gatwick landing in 30 degrees with coach ride to resort. I wore cotton 3/4 length dance leggings , loose t-shirt and denim jacket with a lightweight scarf that I use as a sarong. Slip on trainers.

Coming home I wore linen trousers, T-shirt and jacket, and sandals. I had my trainers in my hand luggage but didn’t bother putting them on. Raining when we got back so the white wide legged trousers were a bit of a mistake! Lesson learned for next year 😁

Honestly OP, just wear jeans and a top that you feel nice in, or some joggers or cargo trousers.

I really wouldn't go wearing fucking leggings under a maxi dress or a big scarf or some of the other weird things suggested on this thread.
