Winter boots <sobs>. Need help <sobs harder>

I just can't seem to find winter boots which I like and which aren't uncomfortable.

And I like winter boots <bottom lip quivers>

Got a pair of chealseas, which I have to rip off. I got some underlay thing which was recommended, which helps a bit, but they still hurt.

Got some high heeled dms, which I love. They cripple me.

For the love off all things holy.... I just want boots that don't hurt to wear or walk in around the office.
Size 7
Long legs (because short friends say they won't wear ankle boots because it shortens them. Not a problem for me. Love an ankle boot)

I just want comfortable! Black.

Is that a big ask?

Weirdly my most comfortable boots were from & other stories a few years ago . Leather lace up but with a chunky rubber sole. I thought I was buying them purely for fashion purposes but they've ended up being used for long walks.

I second Ecco - you should be able to find boots there that are both comfortable and SFW.

I just got a really comfy pair of biker style boots from Celtic and Co.

I've sent back tons of boots in the last year but think I am keeping my Ecco chelsea boots that arrived this week.

I was going to say fly London too. I like the calf length boots. I am tall and a size 7, they have round toes, They are very comfy. I’ve found the soles wear out faster than the boots and are not the type you can get redone easily. I’d get a couple of years from a pair but I have tan and black and I walk a lot so maybe a year if you wear all the time and walk a lot.

If you look in Amazon warehouse you can often find half price especially if you are patient/ flexible about colours.

All my winter boots are either Uggs or doc martens. I'm a big fan of a comfy boot.

My Uggs are not just the furry ones. They also do really nice leather boots which last well and are very comfortable.

I don’t need my 3/4 orthotic insole in either of the 2 pairs I’ve got. Both place up, one is flat calf length one is ankle with a chunky heel.

They are expensive but Grensons.

I got Grensons Nanette’s in black and they have lasted me four winters. They are so lightweight but so trendy. Love them, massive investment but worth every penny!

Have you tried double doc socks with your DMs?

Another vote for Ecco. Very comfortable.
