And Max looking unusually subdued (although with what appear to be statement earrings) at the Apples for Oranges awards. The waist of the dress appears to be have a kind of asymmetric frill.

Mary's hair is looking good in Brazil. The skirt is reminiscent of something Queen Jetsun would wear. The top is like a dinner party / evening blouse. Same colours as Jetsun is wearing here.

The Amazon I'm jealous. Mary and Max are getting about this autumn.

It was very "I've been doing this for free for 4 years and I'm fed up of doing it for free waaah".

I just thought well, no one asked you to, no one is making you, so just stop! Or move to a subscription model, but don't make out like we are all evil scroungers for reading your posts.

It's a shame as it was a handy account to follow for all the outfits, but I'll just follow the individual royal household accounts instead. I'm really not a fan of all these bloggers asking to be paid. I mean, fair enough, but I'm really not fussed enough about their content to pay for it.

I saw that post too @KillingMeDeftIy and did raise an eyebrow at the tone of it, particularly the 'you can subscribe but I may take a break anyway.' 🙄

Yes, agree it was a weird tone from RFP. Fashion blogging isnt exactly brain surgery! I gather she's got various health issues so trying not to be too harsh but it was a strange way of putting things.

So many accounts are doing this nowadays. I personally don't value anyone's content enough to take out a load of different subscriptions though!

I saw that and thought it was an odd thing to do. If I were her I wouldn't start charging I would have left them up, so anyone new to the account could see the sort of thing they would get for their subscription.

My online calculator can't work out 172000 people paying £3 per month. Isn't that in the region on half a million a month?

They won't all be paying, though. I'm still counted in the follower numbers, but I'm definitely not paying.
