I like this photo of GDMT wearing it - she looks pretty smug, which I think is understandable. I'd be smug wearing that too.

That is a tiara 😻! Is it on at slight angle? No matter, it's a beauty.

I think it's also that the colour of the fleece suits her a lot better than the dark blazer.

I always think the Luxembourg Empire Tiara would look a lot better if the top central diamond detailing was taken off, making it more of a kokoshnik shape. (As in, I’d leave the largest round brilliant but remove the halo around it, the little diamond moustache above it and the other diamonds above and on each side).

Just read the center panel can be removed and worn as a brooch. That's neat.

I've read that about so many other tiaras - they can be worn as necklaces or disassembled into brooches and earrings - most practical!

To be fair to him Fred has been busy with plenty of Kingly duties. I don't think they need to be joined at the hip.

More details of Mary's outfit and accessories. Still wearing the diamond-encrusted F pendant. Although I suppose it could stand for fucker. 😉 I think burgundy suits her very well.

Mary looks great in the burgundy. It’s very on trend this year which is unfortunate because the sixth form uniform of the school my DC attended is burgundy and grey and it’s put me off for life 😂
