The aquamarines are great, and I also love Max's day dress - that style really suits her. I'd love to see Sophie (DoE) in that dress, as I think it would really suit her too.

Aquamarines are my favourite gem. I have a pendant and three rings. Also if I see a garment in those hues I'm a goner lovely for the summer.

I agree, much better than the tired floral prints Sophie usually favours.

There's a royal(ish) wedding next weekend when "Princess" Theodora of Greece gets married. I imagine we might see a few Euro royals there, given the family connections.

Block colours do work better camera wise as the late queen knew very well.

I absolutely love Leti's red shoes and bag with her denim dress. I see she's trying a low heel, so maybe her feet are recovering.

@MotherofPearl I looked at the photos before reading your comments and was going to write that, if I was getting married at my mature age, Mathilde's outfit would be perfect. She even has flowers!

Mathilde looks like a Manhatten socialite from the 1970s at her third wedding. She really does dress much older than her age!

I love Leti's outfit and her shoes. I think she has really got into her groove with the flats/low heeled shoes and I love it. I hope she won't go back to the stilettos and I hope some of the other royals will copy it. It pained me to see the UK royal women (other than Anne) on those stilettos all the way through the funeral for Q Elizabeth.

I have to say our favourite birthday girl comes across as a more capable pair of hands than Fred.

She's definitely embracing the role of Queen, and doing it well!

Yes I think Margrethe is very relieved that Fred picked a woman who is up to the task.

Poor Margrethe has damaged a vertebrae in her neck and also fractured her hand in her fall the other day. She will have to wear a neck brace for some weeks.

(or did she pick him... 🤔😉 in any case I think it worked out well for the Monarchy!)
