As someone with a rather large chest I will be steering clear of this trend! Ties, bows etc around my chest just make it look larger and I look incredibly frumpy.

I did notice a low rise jean trend around town last time I went. Lots of young women with low rise jeans. I was hoping that trend was long dead and buried. My belly needs a high waist and industrial strength buttons 😅

As an outfit it's baaaad, imo.

Everything is too statement and loud. The blouse is the faux demure trend, but then the statement suit is modern power women and the glasses clash with it all. Your eye doesn't know what to look at.

I don't hate her outfit- I think with the glasses though it looks to gimmiky. I think it can be a really nice look if done well.

I hate those fussy sorts of clothes. I noticed in John Lewis the other day that there is a brand of clothes with dresses that are very puffy in the body and in the arms. There was a girl on the Great British Sewing Bee who wore clothes like that and I thought they looked awful.

I used to wear ruffled shirts with velvet jackets in my 20ies 🤣

I just don't think it went together well. The big bow was competing with the brightly coloured suit and it was just a bit much.
I think those types of blouses look good as the PP is wearing, with a pinafore style dress. Also think sweater vests or waistcoats look good with them.

If it was me I would of picked more of a cream for the blouse as the white is very stark. Worn with a tailored waistcoat and trousers co-ord.
That suit needed something like a very simple silk blouse instead as well IMO.

I think it's the jacket that lets it down.
