Fabulous Lipsticks - How Often Do You Wear?

I live in a cosy market town, Barbour wellies and Shoffel gilet type.
Do not see much lipstick worn here or day-to-day in my corporate office. I love a lipstick though only have 2, but spend hours looking at them online and always swatch something new when out and about.

Curious about all the lipsticks I see in shops - what happens to them, if I see so few women wear bright colours. How often do you wear yours?

Lipstick for me is all about what suits me, I bought and wanted to love Mac Mehr and similar shades but it did nothing for me. I’ve liked blue reds though despite not being naturally my colour, I can wear red. Also see Mac Little Buddha and Dozen Carnations, I like them but can only wear with certain colours of clothes.

Boots no.7 stay perfect lipstick in 'gay geranium' is a lovely warm toned red.

I wear Maybelline superstay matte ink in pioneer or I think call out? Every day. And I mean every day because it doesn't come off. lol

Wear the good ones everyday. You’re worth it.

I love a Clinique's Black Honey as it's quite natural and more like a lip gloss. I have at least 10 of them scattered around in strategic locations (bathrooms, bedroom, car, work desk, handbags, hallway) and apply a top up layer every time I pass by.

@AngryLikeHades I love gay geranium too, I think I've been wearing it, amongst others, for nearly 30 years!

This thread inspired me to wear red to pick up a take away coffee this afternoon. It’s been a while and I’d forgotten how much of a boost it gives you.

My mum wouldn’t go as far as the washing line without a red lip. She even uses it instead of lip balm when she skis 😂🤣😂🤣

I wear tinted lip balm. (I've got virtually no lips and I look ridiculous in bright lipstick.) It's all about the cheeks for me. I've got awesome cheekbones 😄

I never used to bother much with lipstick, only really when going 'out, out' but recently started wearing it every day. I like that it gives my make up a 'finished' look and makes my small lips look bigger. I use Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk in Fair with matching liner but if I'm feeling a bit more adventurous will switch to Lisa Eldridge in Strawberry Shock. It's a gorgeous coral-ish red and I always get compliments when I wear it
