SPF for face that doesn't cause breakouts

I'm taking the SPF 50 advice for my face but it's breaking me out in spots.
Using a spray one from next and an amber solaire one. I'm thinking it's because they're waterproof so not allowing sweat to evaporate and blocking pores?
I don't need waterproof, hit me with your recommendations please

Heliocare.
i also use Bobbi brown primer + protection (spf50) everyday which is lovely and light and never breaks me out and as it’s a primer, foundation goes on really nice.

I am using Calypso once a day face serum, factor 50. It isn't really a serum, it's a light cream consistency - seems effective, feels good, hasn't broken me out (and everything breaks me out). Costs about £3.99 from Home Bargains.

OP, you need something non-comedogenic. I've had luck with Cetaphil Daily Defence SPF50, and my makeup goes over it just fine. I've also had luck with Ultrasun 50+ Face which is oil-free and non-comedogenic.

Have heard good things about cetaphil

SPF face sprays shouldn't be used as the main protection for your face. Are you even spraying enough to get the proper coverage? They are meant to be used for top ups over make up.

You need an SPF that is non-comedogenic ( so doesn't clog pores) Ultrasun is one and I use this Factor 30 each day. You wash your face, apply Ultrasun immediately then make up goes on top (if you wear it) no other skincare is needed and ultrasun is made to applied to clean skin without other products.

You also need to make sure your double cleansing of an evening to ensure you're removing all product correctly.

My Dermatologist also recommended that I switch from 50 to 30 because 50 gives people a false sense of security and they go longer between applications which means as time goes on, you're losing the effect of the protection.

Re. applications...... how often do people reapply sunscreen on the face?

As acne prone people, what do you do?

I'm reluctant to just reapply sunscreen on my face without having cleaned off the old sunscreen first.

Is that what people do?

(In practice I end up not doing that and just doing one application a day, which probably isn't good.)

Another recommendation for Altruist which my skin seems to like. Not expensive from Amazon.

I changed to Altruist 50 face fluid after a recommendation from the dermatologist having had treatment for actinic keratoses.

Ultra Violette. The Queen Screen is lovely, has no white cast and a rose fragrance (could be a drawback for you, depends if you tolerate fragranced skincare)

Bondi sands f50 facial fluid is great for my skin.

Every two hours but I'm outside 5 days a week from 7am to 630pm and on medication that causes burning so that's the advice from my Dermatologist.
