I've fallen in love with this dress, but it's on Etsy, no returns, coming from Thailand, and one size fits none all, so I'm not going to buy it! Where on earth could I find similar, please? Getting married next June. 5ft6, size 14, will be 48 by then. I'm not a fan of stiff fabrics, and am a massive hippy at heart. Can anyone suggest any inspiration, please?

I know you've ordered now but wow I love the free people dress and the botanical dress. Beautiful.

What a lovely dress, it reminds me of dresses from “Monsoon” go on line and have a look. All the very best 😀

Bollocks! Thought it had uploaded! This one <crosses fingers>

It’s so lovely I think you should get it and then if it needs adjusting you’ll have time, the only thing similar I’ve seen was in a shop in the south of France they love the SE Asian hippy vibe and they had dresses from Thailand the dresses were tied to fit so it might be that it is a one size fits all infact with the one you love

fyi if you want to see what I mean
That shop by the was was called Shakara and in uzes they don’t have a web site just have a Facebook page sorry I’m not great on FB but I think this is the link: (https://m.facebook.com/Www.shankara.fr/)

in the photos they show a lot of the dresses (although they had tonnes more) and I went with a friend who was buying a dress to wear to a wedding and I could see they were mostly all a bit adjustable

I'd send them your actual measurements and open a discussion about what they can do.

Try Sahara, they have beautiful frocks.

With that style of dress it really needs to fit well and be the correct length. I would suggest getting every measurement you can for the dress and then trying to work out if the dress would realistically fit you. Alternatively take the picture to a dressmaker and see if they can make a similar dress for you which would fit your measurements, good luck with this.

Find someone you know well, who is good at sewing, and ask them to make it for you

I had the eBay dress up thread and it was spoilt by a black chiffon panel on the front that didn't go with the rest.

That dress is really lovely. Good call.

It is. But what if you want to wear a bra? You can’t.

Saw this and thought of you. Might not have enough colour in but definitely suitable for the informal wedding look
