I don't really "need" a new facial oil but had a tough time lately and I'm taking pleasure from lovely scents and products, what's your favourite "ooh this feels so luxurious" oil?

(No sensitivities, dry tenancy skin)

Kheils midnight recovery oil.
Smells beautiful and it's quite thin a little bit goes a long way. I always wake up looking like I've had an extra few hours sleep.

Nuxe isn't meant for the face! Emma hardie and Clarins are good ones.

soupfiend · 23/07/2024 07:03

How so, when it says 'face' on it?

Sisley black rose fans, what’s your skincare routine pre & post the oil?

If you want to know about a good facial cleansing oil, Super Facialist Vitamin C+ Brighten Cleansing Oil is wonderful.

I LOVE that cleanser!!

Ahh and this too - it was my go-to for years, in fact I don't know why I switched.

Having said that, I find The Ordinary squalane to be brilliant for the price - not particularly luxurious, but effective, soothing and with good slip (for massage).

I also quite like Beauty Pie Plantastic, and years ago I used to use a Decleor one that I rated but can't remember the name of. Might have been lotus?

I use it at night. Hot cloth cleanse with a balm, then oil all over when my skin’s still slightly damp. I don’t use anything else.

User14March · 23/07/2024 08:22

@BIossomtoes no cream to follow?

It clearly says on the bottle it can be used on face, body and hair and that it's multi purpose.

No, just the oil. Nothing else needed - just as well at that price!
