Yes, next year.
She’s attending the Navy School in Galicia until Christmas and in January will board the training ship Elcano for a 6/7 months sail. All midshipmen/sailors do this tour at least once, usually during their third year at the school. She’s only going to be there for a year so will join the third year students.

Quite a challenge, then.

I visited the Elcano last month when it was in London for a few days on its return to Europe. I do not think it is very princessy at all! Don’t understand how so many people can live there for such a long time!

I didn't realise that it was a ship with sails! I imagined a modern frigate.

I was on the Elcano a few years ago in Dublin. We had a lovely chat with a newsreader and his wife.
Lots of ladders. Lots of young sailors.
And being Ireland nobody would leave...

Pre-wedding celebrations get underway in Norway.
I’d be putting Durek’s “distressed” brown jumper straight in the bin if I was Martha. Actually I’d be binning him off too…I can’t see this ending well.

Apparently the wedding has a dress code of 'cool and sexy'. I haven't seen any evidence of that so far! The brown jumper, the matching pink outfits. Just no!!!

They met when a mutual friend set them up on a blind date. Durek invited her to lunch at his home (cheapskate? Wanting to get laid?)

Yeah it's really not great. <understatement of the year>

She was also likely extremely vulnerable at the time given that her ex husband had committed suicide not long before.

But she's a grown woman and can make her own decisions on what trajectory she wants her life to take.

I'm not impressed that she keeps directly breaking the agreement she made with her father on not using her title of Princess and/or her connection to the royal family for commercial enterprises. It's scabby to make an agreement like that and then repeatedly renege on it.
