Yes, I like the outfit. The trousers are slim fit, which I think suits her better. Harry is looking smart.

I like it too, although I’m not quite sure if the top isn’t a tad too long 🤔. At least it isn’t a bleugh meh colour this time

Yes, I think Anne is one of those people who can carry off that sort of hat! That's an interesting sort of safari get up from the 70s.

Meghan looks really good and glad she’s ditched the shoe-covering trousers.

Not sure about the yellow coat with the Mounties either. It’s very lampshade-esque at the bottom 😆

Like Meghan's trousers a lot, but not keen on the top at all. The combination of halter neck and sleeveless only works with softer, drapier (is that a word?) fabrics, imo. It doesn't suit that much more structured fabric.

Agreed - the slim fit trousers look very sleek but not sure about the top. I think personally there is too much shoulder on display which throws the proportions off.

I like Meghan’s outfit - slim fitting, the right size and a flattering shape. I am grimacing a bit at the navy blue suit with prominent bone buttons, a white handbag and black shoes. Just why?

I think Meghan's exposed shoulders draw the eye up and the peplum-y cut of the top creates the effect of a waist (which she doesn't really have). So it's a relative success.

But as someone else said there's a lot of shoulder on display and the cut under the arms is quite low so you can see the fold of skin between her arm and torso. I don't think this was made to measure and I have no idea if it could have been altered (even she owns it and hasn't borrowed it) but I don't think it's an entire success.

Agree with you on the accessories. I think tan or caramel coloured bag and shoes would have worked well. I detest white handbags (and shoes) I'm afraid.

Yes, @MotherofPearl - a few of us are with you re white shoes! I do recall we didn't really like Kate's last summer!

I agree. The style and cut do nothing for her. I'm also not sure if a low cut sundress is the right choice for this event - looks more like the kind of thing you'd wear on holiday.

Is it the same design of dress she wore in Nigeria, but a different pattern?

I think it's awful - don't like the pattern (too tea towelly) and as pp say, the top looks like a revealing, casual sun dress. It looks odd next to the formal dressing of the other female attendees.
Didn't like the zebra print dress either as (and I don't mean to get the vapours like a Jane Austen character but..) there is just too much flesh on show - legs or boobs but not everything!😂

It's got a peekaboo cut out under the bust! Only small but with the low cut top and the centre split it's just not a formal dress.

I like the colour and the pattern, but it’s too low cut. Sorry. I know I shouldn’t be bothered, but it’s just not professional to wear something low cut like that to a ‘work’ engagement.

Love the satin trousers! Not too sure about the blouse yet, would need to see it when she’s stood up, but something looks slightly off about it and I can’t figure out why. Lovely shoes and I like her hair in the pony tail, it suits her.
