It looks like mercury! Very slick. Leti has great arms, also very good posture 😊. I think she's adapting very well to the lower heels, being previously committed to the stilleto look.

I've seen a few more photos of the Hamptons G9 summit thing and there really has been an overt (or covert!) Hamptons chic memo going on. Can't link the pic but there was one of Reece Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow and they both looked effortlessly preppy chic. Reece looked particularly 'expensive' and Hamptons-ish in a gorgeous off white dress that would have suited Meghan as it was quite tailored.

I think whenever I see Meghan I largely think she looks really good - I did have a pause with her red dress once as it doesn’t suit her short waisted figure but I think I’m conditioned to admire all glamour. I find her SO pretty - and she seems to ignore some figure based shortcomings because she likes them and you can really imagine her loving the red dress.

basically in my amateur manner I would say only EVER separates now, all levels of dress code, and don’t spend £60k on a dress. Literally no dress is worth that and you look so utterly amazing in a white shirt and jeans.

Not sure about Leti’s dress.
It’s clearly a dress that is designed for those without an ounce of fat on them and she does look good but it’s a bit like a nightie.

The pattern is a bit busy for me. I suppose the same could be said for Queen Sofia's, although she does suit it, perhaps the colours are more flattering.

Meanwhile Leonor and Sofia are living their best lives at the Olympics, as are Amalia and Alexia of the Netherlands. No photos of the princess squad together so maybe they don't know each other very well. Though weren't Leonor and Alexia at school together in Wales?

Beatrice has been named Tatler’s best dressed person of 2024. Quite a turnaround from years ago when she was mocked for her dress sense.

That's a turnaround, you're right, @Papergirl1968 . She's had a few different stylists, I think. Whoever she works with currently is doing a good job. She's probably also a bit more confident with style as well. I think she's looking great at the moment.

You're right, it is an eclectic mix. I've liked a lot of Beatrice's outfits this year, but not the two selected. I like Annabel Elliott's suit in that picture, but I've only seen her in that and the Coronation dress ("spare Camilla").
