Tom Ford Adora, which is like my lips but better. Discontinued though, so when I've used the last of my stockpile up I'll have to find a dupe.

angel alessandra (charlotte tilbury) its a coral nude. Love it. It looks enough to look good but not so nude it's invisible.

If I'm going out I also like an orangey lipstick revlon 740 is so much nicer than a red lipstick (on me, not sure but red lipstick has always looked AWFUL on me, only discovered quite excitedly a few years ago that an orange works!

Yep. My vote for Mac Mehr. Goes with anything. I'll be lost if it's discontinued.

I only bought Rimmel Asia a couple of months ago and I've nearly used it all because I like it so much. It suits my skin tone, it lasts without drying and it's easy to apply! I didn't know it was a dupe for a Charlotte Tilbury , so all the better.

@0w1 I like kiss me coral too.. took me 40 years to realise peaches and oranges look better on me than pinks and reds 😆

@Moonlitwalk I have seen this recently all over social media and need to go to a counter and look at it in real life. I think it's prob perfect for me too. Which other lipsticks do you swear by?

I'm 42 and still don't have a 'go to' lipstick. Most that I've bought have proven to be not the right fit for my face - I wonder if I'm attracted to colours that don't suit me so I'm filtering out the ones that do before I've even tried them on. How do you pick a lipstick? Do you go in full make up and apply them to your lips? If so,how do you compensate for the fact that after one lipstick application your lips are more flushed than they would naturally be - either through staining or wiping them off! Am I over thinking this??

@OrangeBlossom28 This is really the main one but I also like Revlon 015 "make it pink". I used the original pillow talk for ages but on trying this fair version I think the original is slightly too dark/ warm toned for me but the fair version is more cool toned and great for fair skin with bluish/pink undertones. I am absolutely obsessed with it- plus the lip liner too. Go and try it at a counter!

Years ago I had a beautiful pink Chanel lipstick, can't quite remember
the name but something like kabuko/i, (?) it was perfect so obvs was discontinued.

Kate Moss for Rimmel "Rock n Roll Nude". Such a perfect colour that they discontinued and I'll never understand why. I have a stash that will last me maybe another year.
