Hi! I'm looking for the holy grail of non-matt, so I guess 'dewy' foundation to make my very tired looking skin 'glow'. Price not a big issue within reason - £30 plus is fine, as is £5. Help!

I just use Garnier BB cream, it seems to go on smoothly and is nice and cheap.
I always struggled to find a concealer that wasnt cakey and didnt settle in wrinkles. Best one Ive found comes from Primark so....result!😄

It's too orange on me.

@TorroFerney would you mind describing the difference between the Eborian CC and BB? I've had the CC before I think, the one that comes out white and then blends. Is the BB similar but more coverage?
Thanks so much!

Hi yes that’s what it says, the cc is more like a glowy tinted moisturiser on me. Neither of them are really thick coverage but I’ll take that as I hate looking at my face and thinking oh I look ok and then getting my magnifying mirror out and seeing it caked , settling in my wrinkles. The bb is similar consistency but comes out the colour it is rather than white. I got colour matched in spacenk, they have two sizes if you don’t want to shell out on the full size initially.

@TorroFerney thank you so much. Great to know Space NK colour match as the CC cream I had, I was always slightly unsure whether to should have gone for the paler one! Will pop in and do the same as you. Thanks again!

Hi all, thanks for all the helpful suggestions. I haven’t been able to get to John Lewis or Selfridges yet, so you won’t believe what I’m using………. A Primark foundation: My Perfect Skin Illuminating Foundation and it’s quite good! Apparently it’s a dupe for a Nars product and certainly makes my skin feel dewy and the coverage is good! I bought it as it was reduced before Christmas and thought I’d finally give it a go. It will certainly do the job for now!

I used to use Lancôme Teint Miracle but now love Elf Halo glow together with the Elf primer recommended by 13 year old DD!

Just adding you need to get the glow one rather than the plain one.

Which Elf primer?

I’d recommend going to a department store (or Sephora if you have one) and doing the rounds asking the assistants for advice and seeing what suits you.
