How old are they? John Lewis vouchers are a bit boring for someone in their 20s. We buy Selfridges vouchers for younger colleagues.

I love handbags/shoulder bags/crossbody bags etc., and have a fairly large collection of them. However, I don’t like someone else buying me bags (unless I’m with them, or I have said I like), as I very much like to choose the ones I get. I have several bags (combined cost of about £1k) lying in a drawer, which are not to my taste and I wont ever use. So if you’re getting her something personal like this, make sure that she can exchange or return it, in case she doesn’t like it.

To me DocMartens are practical no nonsense shoes, but that bag is tiny and fiddly and the epitome of nonsense.

I wear DMs and I would love someone to buy me that bag.
