Sweatshirts without place names - how hard can it be?

I’d like some casual sweatshirts and prefer something other than plain colours but all I can find in my usual haunts is ones with the names of American cities or other far-flung destinations. Or occasionally some crap French phrase or self-love slogan.

Where on Earth can I get something a bit different without any of these things?

Wow so many options, thanks everyone!

Laughing at the idea of random French and American people in their UK themed sweatshirts - Cor Blimey? Luton? Could go on forever.

Considering the amount of souvenir shops now in Oxford town centre I'm utterly convinced every tourist and exchange student must have one sweatshirt with Oxford emblazoned on it, I bet there's at least one in every country...even North Korea.

Or they are a money laundering front and Oxford has become the capital for criminal gangs!

Do it!

“AIBU to design sweatshirts for the oversees market and would you prefer Slough or Bognor?”

This all reminds me of Victoria Wood talking about guest houses being called "The Braemar" or "The Loch Lomond" in England and speculating that in Scotland they'd be "The Stockport" or "The Manchester Ship Canal" Grin

Elsie's Attic has some nice hoodies.

Local shop to me screen prints in house, maybe too slogan-y for you but they have some really nice designs.

I'm having to really restrain myself from giving these people all my money. They're delightful.

Neon Marl do some good designs.

Otherwise I tend to buy my sweatshirts in the men’s section. I don’t think my body is that long but I find ladies sweatshirts are just a tiny bit too short

I wonder whether in America they wear sweatshirts with Croydon or Blackpool emblazoned across the front

Or Glasgow 🤣

crazycatladie · 26/04/2024 07:37

Try Betty Bramble.

ZaZathecat · 26/04/2024 22:49

H&M men's sweatshirts often have interesting designs
