any tried Laura Mercier foundation?

i have been trying to find my perfect foundation.

i went to the clinique counter and the lady there picked out a foundation for me which looks brilliant on me, i was dead chuffed until day 2 when my face got all itchy and stinging from it! Gutted!

so, i'm thinking Laura Mercier. is it worth the price? whats good/not good about it?

can anyone advise?

i am 32, fair skinned, dryish skinned, blonde hair, few lines...want to look good!

ooh thanks for answering! would a primer make me look less wrinkly then? i owuld use it every day if it did, that is bad though, right?

tis only on my forehead really, too much frowning and saying "no" to the dcs...

colourwise i seem to end up looking orange - only one i find doesn't tango-fy me is max factor colour adapt (which, i have to admit, i tried applying with a brush this morning and was v impressed!). however, wrinkles seem even more evident though coverage is good...aaagggghhh!!

you really are lovely Wats, and extremely helpful!

hmm...i feel a shopping trip coming on

had to cancel hair appt today cos dd1 is ill...could spend the money on posh stuff to make me look young and hot instead....

stupid question...presumably you would need to go to a posh makeup counter with bare skin to try all their lovely stuff?

could you not do that independently? it sounds like a good idea. and you owuld be very good at it, you are most impartial and wise.

my only tip for arse-toning is to walk several miles every day pushing a heavy pram
(heavy because of all the shopping in the tray underneath it, not because of the heavy child inside!)
