Hi all,
I don’t want to make a dud investment - love a thick cleansing balm for night time. i like the more herbal smelling ones. I have tried:

eve lom (like this and would get again, but keen to see what else there is)
farmacy
Alpha H
Espa
Elemis pro collagen

thank you!

Why didn't you like the ones you've tried? I mean, if you have a product you like, why change it? I have been using the Farmacy one for a few years now. I love it. So I keep using it.

If you really like changing though - the Trinny one is also lovely.

DrJoanAllenby · 22/03/2024 09:39

Vaseline or another make of petroleum jelly.

I use Ican London rose and it's fantastic.

When I've used my current one up I'm going to try this one as it has vitamin e in it -

IWantTheOneICantHave · 22/03/2024 09:41

Emma Hardie Moringa

SaffyWall · 22/03/2024 09:42

I like the Sali Hughes one - it has a sandlewood scent and a fairly heavy consistency.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 22/03/2024 09:44

Jane Scrivener
Then I met you

Both lovely.

UpsideLeft · 22/03/2024 09:44

I like the Boots No 7 one that comes in a pot

MaloneMeadow · 22/03/2024 09:44

Another Emma Hardie Moringa vote. Smells glorious and it’s the best one I’ve tried

LaCerbiatta · 22/03/2024 09:47

Balance me, if they still maake it. Haven't used it in a while, but it was very thick and herby smelling 🙂

mumpenalty · 22/03/2024 09:53

I like the Elemis one already on your list but the Emma Hardie Moringa is a close second.

Levithecat · 22/03/2024 12:40

Thank you all - I haven’t heard of most of those so will go and check them out

Oh yes Emma hardie definitely

TokyoSushi · 22/03/2024 12:57

Absolutely Emma Hardie Morninga - smells divine!

NiceUnusualDifferent · 22/03/2024 13:34

Definitely Deviant Cleansing concentrate. I use the blue tansy version. It's divine

kinkyredboots · 22/03/2024 14:12

Neals Yard Remedies - Wild Rose Beauty Balm. multi purpose as well or
up circle cleansing balm is very nice as well.

Chocolateteabag · 22/03/2024 14:25

Aldi have their normal and rose cleansing balms in store at the moment OP - I've got the Rose one and its pretty much the same as Elemis/Emma Hardie but £5

RosieMilkJug · 22/03/2024 14:26

Rodial Pink diamonds

Ihavethis2 · 22/03/2024 14:36

Another vote for Emma Hardie morninga balm.

Benvolio · 22/03/2024 14:41

Lyonsleaf is fab.

I also sometimes use plain sunflower oil (used to get it in pure, sprayable form from supermarkets but these are less common since Ukraine) and it is just as effective, if less fragrant.

Theoldwoman · 22/03/2024 14:42

I like just Ponds.

Festivalmitch · 22/03/2024 14:45

Weleda for me - in the green tube, it’s amazing and leaves my skin SO soft

GardenRoom · 22/03/2024 14:47

I’ve used a fair few and the absolute best by far is the body shop camomile cleansing balm. It is honestly like magic - melts off every last little scrap of makeup, just like that. I used to double cleanse and take some of my makeup off with micellar water before using a balm - absolutely no need now. I’ve stockpiled it in case the body shop go bust.

Plump82 · 22/03/2024 14:59

I love the Vitaskin Vitamin C one from Holland and Barrett. Quite often 2 for 1 offer on this range.

beguilingeyes · 22/03/2024 15:06

I like Clinique Take The Day Off

I’ve been to 3 aldi stores this week to try and get one and they’ve all sold out 😭
