As comfy as joggers but not joggers?

I am looking for suggestions of trousers that are as comfortable as joggers, but aren't joggers. Must have an elasticated waist. Not necessarily elasticated cuffs. Gone for style and beauty here but what I'm asking about it potentially neither stylish nor beautiful - but would be an improvement!

Thanks for the links so far. They look a bit work-trouser like to me. Not really something I would wear at home, walking the dog, picking up kids, etc. And I work from home!

Marks and Spencer's yoga pants. They look surprisingly smart and are totally comfortable.

Yes it was Stradivarius! Sorry I thought it said somewhere on the screenshot. So comfy and wash up lovely.

henlake7 · 08/03/2024 13:36

I dont think you need to discount joggers either. Get a wide legged pair in a decent fabric and in a neutral colour and they can look fashionable. Esp if you dress them up with trendy trainers, a posh jumper or coat.

Trulyme · 08/03/2024 14:36

Leggings or yoga pants.

Lambethmum · 08/03/2024 14:38

Forgotten Tribes does very comfortable high elastic waisted harem pants

These are lovely! Do you mind me asking how tall you are? I'm 5 8 but quite long legs in comparison to height and trousers like this often swing around my ankles

Pigeonqueen · 08/03/2024 15:03

Yours have tons. I love them, so comfy. If you just look in their trouser section there’s all sorts. Wide leg ones are my fave. I think they start from a 14-16 though so depends if you’re that size and up (I’m an 18).

I’m 5’7 and they’re too long for me! I can’t wear my very flat trainers with them Blush

Darklane · 08/03/2024 15:36

I have quite a few pairs of these, they come in various colours & lengths. Very comfy but, I think, quite smart

@happyhippo24 Oooh, thank you! I might give them a go 🤞🏻🤞🏻

TryingNotCrying24 · 08/03/2024 15:57

I think the answer could be joggers but not in sweatshirt material. I got a pair of tencel joggers in Tesco last summer - I should honestly have got them in every colour. Very comfy and looked smarter because not the usual joggers material.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 08/03/2024 16:05

I have some uniqlo cargo trousers which are wide and have an elasticated waist and cuffs. They are super light parachute material so maybe not great for while its still cold but I'm looking forward to living in them again over spring/summer.

Marmite27 · 08/03/2024 16:07

I’m currently living in Orvis coat leggings I bought from Costco. My original ones were £15ish, but when I went back for some more this week they were half price!

Marmite27 · 08/03/2024 16:08

cosy not coat ffs.

LouisaMayAlcott · 08/03/2024 16:19

I wear Uniqlo flannel trousers. Not the checked-look-like-pyjamas ones but the plain black or plain grey pairs. Elasticated waist and wide legs they feel like pj's but just look like normal plain trousers.
