Sorry, it reminds me of something that would be worn by a children's TV presenter.

Parrotsandpussies · 11/03/2024 22:18

I am 60 and not skinny. I love the pink cardigan! I'm very short, so it probably wouldn't be too short on me. I'd wear it over a vest to avoid exposing my stomach, but still have the area round my shoulders showing. My shoulders are not too fat 😁. Fashion is there to be enjoyed, and it has taken me this long to realise I love pastels, and don't have to be wearing black to look cool!

Riverlee · 11/03/2024 22:19

I really like it

mycatismyworld · 11/03/2024 23:32

Shapeless and cheap looking. Like something you'd see on everything £5 or under market stall. I like bold and wacky. This is like something you'd get in the reduced section in Primark

sonjadog · 01/03/2024 18:46

Personally, I wouldn't wear it. I don't like the length, colour combination or that it is 100% acrylic. But I wouldn't think twice about someone else wearing it if they wanted to. So if you like it, then go for it.

This. Plus it looks really cheap.

Frangipanyoul8r · 12/03/2024 13:32

It’s 100% acrylic - it’s like wrapping your body in knitted clingfilm and throwing a load of micro plastics into the local water system. Get a cotton knit cardi instead.

FlamingBlue · 12/03/2024 14:16

Hideous but then I'm old.

WitchyMoo · 12/03/2024 16:46

I like it but would be frightened to wash it .. would the colors run?

YouDoYouHun · 12/03/2024 17:06

I bought something very similar from boohoo a couple of years back and love it.

Epidote · 12/03/2024 20:12

If it were green I would buy it. Pink is not my colour but the cardigan is nice.

tillyandmilly · 12/03/2024 22:11

don't waste your money! 🤪

Fabricwitch · 12/03/2024 23:51

I really like the look, but personally avoid white and definitely won't buy acrylic. I love the different colours of pink though and like the shape too.

CottonbudQueen · 15/03/2024 08:28

Meh, it isn't good wool, not sure it'll wash well, will lose it's shape and get bobbly very quickly.

henlake7 · 15/03/2024 09:11

Not being wool is a good thing in my book (vegan!).
Not my colours but cute shape. Besides everybody is different (different tastes and different budgets) so wear what you want.
Ive just bought that very tacky Def Leppard sweatshirt from Primark that Ive been umming and ahhing about for ages......yes, its not stylish but I bloody love it!😄

Trez1510 · 15/03/2024 15:50

It's precisely the sort of cardigan I wore in my 20s. The cropped cut suits my shape - short torso, long legs, well as long as someone 5'2" s legs can be!

I'd probably buy both grey and pink as I suit both.

If you like it. Go for it.

FWIW, I think it's 100% prettier, fun and funky than the usual sack-like dresses/Breton tops so frequently recommended on here. 😉

1mabon · 16/03/2024 18:30

Love it, I'd wear it and I'm no longer a spring chicken by a long haul.

misskatamari · 16/03/2024 20:03

I don’t like the white but like the idea and would like it if it was different colours/had a coloured main body. If you like it go for it! Everyone’s taste is different and if people don’t like yours who cares!

Ariona · 16/03/2024 20:21

Looks very tacky. Look at the models hairstyle, that wisps of hair will tell you enough. I'm 40 and no one I know this age wears stuff like that. Very young teens would be able to pull that off just fine but presumably you aren't that age. It just looks very tacky to me.

YourSassyHiker · 16/03/2024 21:40

Bit tacky Ellie x

TheSquareMile · 16/03/2024 22:35

I wouldn't wear it myself, but I can imagine seeing young women aged around 18/19 wearing that outfit if I went to the Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford on a Saturday.

I wouldn't say it was a pretty cardigan (at all) and I wouldn't say that it looked like a child's cardi; I would say that it would most likely be worn by someone in her late teens though.

A fair few have been sold, I notice, so it's clearly a hit with someone.

IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle · 30/03/2024 10:16

RosyappleA · 30/03/2024 09:12

That's very nice.

ShoveItUpYourArseMargaret · 30/03/2024 12:21

I quite like the style but wouldn’t buy it as it’s 100% acrylic. I’d look for similar in more natural fibres.

whiskeycats · 30/03/2024 12:31

Please don't shop at PLT :(
