I have to say if I'm paying that much for a trench coat, I want it to be neutral and to last me for years. I've no love for Boden. I had one jacket and skirt from them about 25 years ago, but I don't quite see why they come in for such vituperation. They're not that bad.

I don't get the love for Sezanne. Very overpriced for very ordinary clothes. Or Mint Velvet - clothes lacking in any personality whatsoever.

It reminds me of a wipe clean tablecloth so it's a no from me.

Exactly everyone goes on about how much better dressed the French/Spanish/Italian/Europeans are. I've been Greece, Spain and Turkey recently and you see some real messes from the locals.The best dressed I've seen have been the UAE locals. I dislike this bashing of the UK population and their fashion sense that goes on on here.

I like it. Great with jeans or a plain black outfit.

I like the Boden coat too but yes, too expensive. Don’t like the Chloe one though.

I’m not british but I hate all the “other nations laugh at us” crap. Go to my scandinavian home country and it’s full of overweight and pasty people wearing shellsuits. I tend to wear boring neutrals but love seeing more out there prints and colours on others.

What do you think of this Boden skirt? I love it but just don’t have anywhere to wear it.

That’s the sort of skirt that I would buy imagining myself as Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday, only to be faced with the fact that I looked like a Punch and Judy tent had got up and walked.

Think of how it would look on a more average sized woman.

Boden is for grannies

When you go outside. That's when you can wear it. Or in the house. It's an elasticated waist cotton skirt, not a ball gown or a wedding dress. It's rather nice.

That coat reminds me of Elmer the elephant

People say Boden is for grannies but I find the tops almost always so low cut my big bust cannot cope.

The older I get, the further down my boobs travel, so that kinda checks out?
