Just wanted to share this find. From sainsbury, only £20. I'm 5ft 2 and the regular are the perfect length when worn with trainers. No gaping at the back of the waist, give my bum a nice shape and then skim over the thighs. I'm a size 12.

I really love them and I've had lots of compliments, got them in both colours. I've been clinging onto my skinnys for dear life. Finally feel like I've caught up.

My waist is 26 and I wear a size 8 from River Island (though my hips and bum are bigger so struggle to avoid the gaping waist - except the most recent ones). Just spoke to someone I know who’s bought them from Sainsbury’s though and says definitely bigger fitting

Mine fitted fine on the hip and waist, but were too long. I am an awkward height, at 5'3'' regular are too long, and short are too short. I can't be doing with taking them up, so sending them back. Such a shame, I liked them apart from them dragging on the ground.

Hmm I find TU are too short in the rise and look cheap after a few washes.
My go to is Fatface for jeans, can't go wrong, they wash and wear beautifully.
Would rather pay a bit extra

Having worn skinnies for years, a wide leg jean is different but I quite like them flapping around my legs 😁

Just wanted to add these jeans to this thread that I've just bought. They are so lovely. Soft denim. Flattering fit, high waisted, nice length I'm 5'7 and they the length is perfect with my trainers.

Yes, they look ridiculous. And they look ridiculous on everyone (over the age of maybe 10) who wears that cut.

I can understand teenagers feeling the peer pressure to buy in to the current trend of 'ugly' fashions, but can't fathom why 'grown ups' feel the need to buy in to this one.

I'm sticking with flattering denim cuts, and happily taking the risk of being considered not en vogue 😂

I've just picked them up, its a no from me, they fitted great size 10 but the length wasn't right, I would only be able to wear the flattest of shoes with them, and if I ordered the standard they would be to long, I'm finding this with marks and spencer now they changed the leg length short too short standard too long.

Just bought and loved them - I'm short 5'2 and a size 18 and the short length fits perfectly - just breaking on my shoe. Nothing like a new jeans shape to perk you up!

I'm 5 8 and 12-14 so would prob get a 14 as they look better slightly loose but would get a 12 if they're already oversized.

I'm a 12 and they fit perfectly. The fit is exactly like the photo, slightly loose wide legged. I'd say whatever size you would tend to buy I'd go with. They're my new favourite jeans!

I’ve sent mine back - they were a really good fit but the regular was slightly too long (I’m 5’3 but short legs) especially as I’d want to wear them with flat sandals in the summer. Should have got the short but now sold out!!

If anyone is returning the short ones in a size 8, light blue please give me a heads up?

And re the look ridiculous comment - as a natural pear they look a lot less ridiculous on me than skinnies!!

I got the 10S and id say try to size and for me at 5'1 a good length - not floor trailing but I am happy with that as hate sopping wet hems.

I wish they had some stretch to the denim tho as I can see myself not being comfy. tags removed tho....

Why don’t TU do a size 6? Their sizing comes up big anyway but that means I drown in their 8s. Would love some of these if they’re as great as everyone says!

I’m a 6/8 and the 8 were ok on me, didn’t drown me. I do have a generous bum though…

Now got myself some of the 8 short and love them!
