Not a wedding dress for a wedding

I have a registry office wedding , it’s early April .

After booked a private room in a nice restaurant for 20 of us .

So I want a dress that isn’t a wedding dress and a bit different , striking .

I am 5ft 6. Size 18-20 .
50s . Fair complexion .

I can be glam with make up .

I want a dress that stands out . Budget up to £300.

OP - you do you, it’s your wedding etc but as this is Style and Beauty can I swerve you away from animal print? Its just that its everywhere now , so I don’t think it will have that striking effect that you are after.

I was going to suggest Nancy Mac but they appear to be 'between collections' at the moment.
If I was getting married in a register office soon I would wear one of their velvet jumpsuits in a jewel colour

I like this style but not sure what shoes to wear with them and also don’t like my legs fare as chunky calves and ankles !
