I buy a cheap almond oil (Naisance) from Amazon for my legs and arms and use LOccitane almond oil for the torso cos it smells nice.
I have rough upper arms and the Naisance is better at softening them up than any cream or oil I’ve tried before.

MintTwirl · 24/01/2024 18:34

The ones I always rebuy are Palmers. Cocoa Butter, jars of Coconut Oil and Garnier Ultinate Blends Oat body lotion.

Hellendegenerate · 24/01/2024 18:45

Johnson's Vita Rich with Pomegranate flower extract. Lovely fragrance and it's light but does the job for me. Around a fiver for a big bottle which lasts ages.

hotchocdrinker · 24/01/2024 19:09

I used to love a Dove one which was discontinued a couple of years ago and I have been searching ever since for a new 'favourite'. Ive tried 3 or 4 and have settled on the Superdrug Intensive Vitamin E all over body cream. It's a nice texture and very good value for money! https://www.superdrug.com/skin/body-care/body-creams/vitamin-e-intensive-all-over-body-cream-475ml/p/780278

I have very dry skin..the best ever body moisturizer for me is eucerin 10% urea lotion. My skin isnt scaly now

LateMumma · 24/01/2024 19:18

Aveeno body oil, smells lovely and works a treat on my very dry legs

App13 · 24/01/2024 19:32

Cerave

quirkychick · 24/01/2024 19:37

@Easipeelerie I use the Naisance almond oil too. I've tried lots of different creams etc. and I come back to that regularly (I haven't tried the L'Occitane one, it sounds lovely). The other oil I sometimes use is kukui oil. Also neutral and moisturising.

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 24/01/2024 20:14

If you like a body butter then I like Soap and Glory sugar crush. Or a L’Occitane one which I think is now discontinued, violet.

Franticbutterfly · 24/01/2024 20:53

Nécessaire the body serum is amazing but I can't justify the cost. It's gone so quickly when I do have it.

NowWhatUsernameShallIHave · 25/01/2024 06:46

Nivea - dark blue in the pump

but if you’re really scaly which I can be the loccitane Shea cream in the tub is very moisturising

WellThisIsFun1 · 25/01/2024 06:47

Nivea lotion in the blue bottle

ProperDeep · 25/01/2024 07:55

EV Olive oil with any chosen essential oil.

The only other thing I’ve ever really loved (as an adult, was a Nivea child) is Frederic Malle Body Butter - outstanding, but I have no grandmothers left to sell.

sandgrown · 25/01/2024 08:03

Another vote for Superdrug vitamin E range. Reasonable price too

I used to spend loads on body and face cream ( like £100s) ; then a dermatologist told me to stop. That it was a waste of money and to try Superdrug's Vitamin E Skin care cream. I use the intensive version, but there is a lighter version too.

They said it's just as good as the expensive stuff and absorbs perfectly. Love it. Have recommended it to all my family and friends. They love it too.

BusterGonad · 25/01/2024 08:52

Baby lotion, I also use it as a facial cleansing cream. I also like the Nivea body cream in the big blue bottle with the pump.

dullandgrey · 25/01/2024 15:43

CeraVe here too. With Nuxe dry oil on top of the drier parts like elbows and knees

TheTruthWillSetYouFreeMaybe · 28/01/2024 08:38

Aveeno. The oat one, not the yoghurt one. They do an extra dry formula . I get patches of eczema and it works for me - and you can buy it everywhere

Italianmeringuebuttercream · 28/01/2024 09:34

Ameliorate transforming body lotion. Since ivd been using that the bumps on my upper arms and thighs have gone. Also, since I've been taking collagen (ancient and brave bovine) I don't have flaky shins.

EggyBreadBrekkie · 28/01/2024 10:28

At the moment it's Nivea Q10.
Usually wait for a half price offer.

EggyBreadBrekkie · 28/01/2024 10:29

I also like Garnier- the different ones with shea or whatever.

Overcome2023 · 28/01/2024 10:30

I find coconut oil really good for my dry, itchy, sensitive skin.

Moier · 28/01/2024 10:43

Cerave. Absolutely love it.

OzBoy · 28/01/2024 11:51

Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturising Lotion................................. incredible.
