Cerave lotion, full of ceramides etc keeps my skin lovely and soft and not greasy feel.

I've recently just bought this and used it for the first time today. Seems lovely on.

i agree with @Lurkingandlearning and @quirkychick almond oil works well. I had dry, to the point of being itchy legs and almond oil had stopped the itching and dryness after one application! I'm going to keep using it!

quirkychick · 24/01/2024 15:45

@SoapCollector it's a great neutral make up remover too!

SoapCollector · 24/01/2024 16:39

@quirkychick do you use a face cloth to remove the oil and makeup? And do you use it as a face moisturizer too? And - last question - which brand of almond oil do you use? There seems to be a massive difference in price depending on where you buy it from!

WildFlowerBees · 24/01/2024 16:42

@justanothermanicmonday1 I sometimes spray some of my perfume into it as it hasn't got a scent really. It's been my go to for a few years now, it's great in winter. After a few days your skin will be really smooth.

TheFormidableMrsC · 24/01/2024 16:45

Vaseline Intensive Care in the yellow bottle. I've used it daily for more years than I care to think about. It's brilliant stuff.

Product3257 · 24/01/2024 16:46

Anything by Bath & Body Works, it soaks in so fast, isn't greasy and is the only moisturiser that had softened my crusty elbows. Plus the scents are amazing

quirkychick · 24/01/2024 16:51

@SoapCollector I use a face cloth usually, but I have started using a cotton bud for eye makeup, as I have some eczema around my eye. I have also used CottonSilk cotton wool pads, which are super gentle. I use Naissance Almond Oil from Amazon.

ParadiseLaundry · 24/01/2024 16:53

Another vote for Weleda's Skin Food Body Lotion. It's more than I like to spend usually but it's head and shoulders above anything I've used before.

SoapCollector · 24/01/2024 17:01

@quirkychick thank you! 😀 Do you use it as face moisturizer too? I'm thinking this is going to save me lots of money! Thanks again.

quirkychick · 24/01/2024 17:07

@SoapCollector I use Gallinée moisturiser (I highly recommend their products) in the day and Weleda Skin Food at night. I use it with a gua sha at night.

SideshowAuntSallyx · 24/01/2024 17:10

I use Nivea Rich Nourishing or Neutragena Norwegian Formula Deep Moistriser with Garnier Summer body, I then use Nivea Creme (the blue tins) on the really dry bits but I suffer from really dry skin to the point if I don't moisturise it starts itching and flaking.

Sapphire05 · 24/01/2024 17:10

EOS Vanilla Cashmere from Amazon
L’occitane Almond Milk Concentrate
Another vote for Bum Bum cream and all the others from Sol de Janeiro.

SoapCollector · 24/01/2024 17:10

Thank you for all the tips @quirkychick ☺

quirkychick · 24/01/2024 17:13

@SoapCollector you're welcome. Gallinée was recommended on here to me. You can get it from Holland & Barratt, or Look Fantastic, not cheap but probiotic and good for your skin's microbiome.

RenoDakota · 24/01/2024 17:14

I love Aveeno. Although I don't believe for one second that Jennifer Aniston, who advertises it, uses it!

quirkychick · 24/01/2024 17:15

@SoapCollector I meant I use almond oil with the gua sha.

CharlotteMakepeace · 24/01/2024 17:30

Lancôme Nutrix Royal Body Lotion or Clarins Body-Smoothing Moisture Milk with Aloe Vera which I think may be discontinued now.

Elemis Fangipani is also lovely.

It's a shame about Lush and that I now boycott them as my daughter had got me onto their body lotions.

itsgoingtobeabumpyride · 24/01/2024 17:32

Soap and Glory The righteous body butter, I really love the smell and it leaves my skin really sogt

Dellaandthedealer · 24/01/2024 18:19

Rituals Body Cream, the Indian rose and almond one especially, it smells divine, light and easily absorbed. Current favourite!

muddyford · 24/01/2024 18:21

St Ives, but I had to buy it on Amazon. Not in supermarkets now.

SgtJuneAckland · 24/01/2024 18:22

L'occitane almond milk concentrate , not the cheapest but great for my very dry sensitive skin that I dunk in a chlorinated pool multiple times a week.
The refill pouches are usually about £10 cheaper than the jar and you can repurpose any tub

BoPeepsSheep · 24/01/2024 18:27

Laura Mercier creme brulee.

I could take a spoon and eat it

everygreensock · 24/01/2024 18:32

Another vote for Brazilian Bum Bum cream.
