Chanel trainers / designer trainers

I’m just wondering if anyone buys chanel trainers , even slightly lower designer trainers Dior , Celine etc ?
Are they worth it ? I have a few designer bags ( under 10) and I feel this year I want to try not to buy any bags and focus on something else luxury . I have one pair already but thinking of getting a couple more pairs but unsure due to I’m actually wanting to wear them so don’t think I’d re sell in future etc , I’m buying new /unworn but preloved so cost wise usually upto £800 rrp is over 1k I do keep eye on eBay for a bargain barely used but never seems to happen.

I have enough SLGS and I recently got a beautiful Burberry coat I just feel I want to move away from buying bags or at least limiting it to 1 or 2 a year.

if you don’t buy trainers what other luxury items do you own / want to buy ?

I doubt that as many people as you think even look at your trainers, let alone take in the details.

I've been looking at that style in lilac. They come up TINY.

There are loads of new or almost new ones on Preloved sites. Luxe collective have loads.

I have a very visceral reaction against them which I suppose I need to think about some more. I actually think big fashion houses trying to do street wear is a bit lame. If your £1k was being invested in boots that you would wear and have resoled and loved for years then that’s different. Streetwear fashions are so fleeting and you just have to look how scathing people are about Vejas are now?

I have a pair of YSL leather trainers (Court Classic) and they have been brilliant. Comfortable, not too flash, have had so much wear out of them (plus they still sell them).
My wardrobe is pretty classic (and not Mob Wife), so I like naice accessories (belts, scarves...) that are not too logo, more low key.
