I kinda like it and black & white looks very good on me
I love jumpsuits

ESTHER BELTED TRIM JUMPSUIT

Should I wait and see if the price comes down a little more?

I'm gong to an event in February, it is kinda of a big deal however a super relaxed place and not pretentious but I want to feel my best

My style is minimalist, urban, casual and comfortable but not without thoughtfulness

Please suggest something else that might come to mind

And if I get this jumpsuit, I have no clue what shoes to wear with it (or jacket / coat)

I'm 5'5 size 8/10

Well mine was a disaster. They delivered this morning, a pair of black skinny jeans with the Esther jumpsuit label on. Incorrectly labelled apparently, I now have to wait several days till they refund me, and of course my size is now out of stock.

so that went well…

did you buy straight from Reiss or somewhere else?

I’m on my way to collect mine and will report later

Update

The fabric is good and and the jumpsuit is comfortable but I wish there were no or more discreet white lines at the cuffs and no white lines at all dividing the shoulder and the arms

It felt like pyjamas or a posh maid's outfit...if it was the opposite colours - a white jumpsuit with black lines, it would look a lot more interesting and beautiful.

Also there is some weird gathering at the back by the waits and it makes it look like there is too much fabric there - I think it is because the zip is at the back and it weighs a bit - the zip is very long though and it is easy to put the jumpsuit on - no hole on the zip to attach a ribbon but I'm used to close back zips by myself, I think my arms are kinda long

The belt is also quite long and detachable. I think it would look like good with and without the belt

It is going back tomorrow

I like it on the model but wouldn't buy it because for my tastes it's too smart for daywear and too plain for evening wear. Plus it wouldn't fit me, with Reiss not doing a size 16.

A very good point. I have a few dresses and jumpsuit that I can't zip up myself.

Directly from Reiss. I would not do it again to be honest.

they no longer give order numbers, which is fine, but they say we will contact you again when it’s being dispatched, it then arrived the next day and the email saying it was coming came long after it actually arrived. So basically I thought it was coming today as no communication and was surprised when it turned up yesterday

then when opened, as said, it was a pair of black skinny jeans with thr jumpsuit label on. So I then had to call them, and they organised a courier to collect today, then will refund when it’s processed.

i think it happens a lot, as soon as I called and said I ordered a jumpsuit and got jeans, the lady said oh can you check the label. There was no surprise or that’s weird, she knew immediately the problem. Most companies would assume a picking error, but she didn’t, she immediately assumed incorrect label. And she was right.

there is only 3 reasons for return on the return label and one of them is incorrect item.

the fact she wasn’t surprised and knew immediately tells me it’s not uncommon. And due to that I’d not order direct from them again, as it does seem this is a common enough occurance that staff know immediately what’s went wrong.

i also ordered a Reiss top as part of my daughters Xmas for her, and it turned up,hugely creased with one of the seams ripped, someone had obviously returned it, they’d not checked it, just repacked and fired it out again. Due to timing, I simply ironed it and put a few stitches in the neck line to fix it, but it’s two out of two fails in 6 weeks.

for the cost of their clothes, this is really letting them down, and your description of the jumpsuit, indicates why it was in the sale.

ive had a few bits from Reiss over the years, always for work, but I’m really put off buying their clothes now.
