Directly from Reiss. I would not do it again to be honest.
they no longer give order numbers, which is fine, but they say we will contact you again when it’s being dispatched, it then arrived the next day and the email saying it was coming came long after it actually arrived. So basically I thought it was coming today as no communication and was surprised when it turned up yesterday
then when opened, as said, it was a pair of black skinny jeans with thr jumpsuit label on. So I then had to call them, and they organised a courier to collect today, then will refund when it’s processed.
i think it happens a lot, as soon as I called and said I ordered a jumpsuit and got jeans, the lady said oh can you check the label. There was no surprise or that’s weird, she knew immediately the problem. Most companies would assume a picking error, but she didn’t, she immediately assumed incorrect label. And she was right.
there is only 3 reasons for return on the return label and one of them is incorrect item.
the fact she wasn’t surprised and knew immediately tells me it’s not uncommon. And due to that I’d not order direct from them again, as it does seem this is a common enough occurance that staff know immediately what’s went wrong.
i also ordered a Reiss top as part of my daughters Xmas for her, and it turned up,hugely creased with one of the seams ripped, someone had obviously returned it, they’d not checked it, just repacked and fired it out again. Due to timing, I simply ironed it and put a few stitches in the neck line to fix it, but it’s two out of two fails in 6 weeks.
for the cost of their clothes, this is really letting them down, and your description of the jumpsuit, indicates why it was in the sale.
ive had a few bits from Reiss over the years, always for work, but I’m really put off buying their clothes now.
