I kinda like it and black & white looks very good on me
I love jumpsuits

ESTHER BELTED TRIM JUMPSUIT

Should I wait and see if the price comes down a little more?

I'm gong to an event in February, it is kinda of a big deal however a super relaxed place and not pretentious but I want to feel my best

My style is minimalist, urban, casual and comfortable but not without thoughtfulness

Please suggest something else that might come to mind

And if I get this jumpsuit, I have no clue what shoes to wear with it (or jacket / coat)

I'm 5'5 size 8/10

Buy it now. If you were a size 6 or a size 18 it might go cheaper, but there’s already a lot off it and 8/10 s tend to go quickly.

its lovely- don’t wear with trainers to event ( though will be good for other stuff)

wear chunky heeled boots or shoes

skysmumm · 22/01/2024 00:30

I used to think Reiss was overpriced shit until I tried on a few things. The stuff sits so beautifully on. Thats gorgeous and so versatile. You'll need to post a photo when you get it!

SheerLucks · 22/01/2024 01:24

It's beautiful - buy it!!

Reiss don't do themselves any favours with their windows and advertising, but IME everything is really beautifully cut and worth the money.

Howtonamechange · 22/01/2024 02:04

I love it op. Show us it when you receive it. I'm tempted myself but I've never bought from Reis before. I'm a size 14 because of my fat ass and wobbly belly - are they true to size?

SpttyMaldoon · 22/01/2024 07:14

if it’s on sale on different retailers you can always try and find a discount voucher online or subscribe to their newsletter and get a 10-15% off this purchase…

if you’re hoping for it to go lower you may lose it!

DRY CLEAN ONLY.
100% VISCOSE.

Sorry the capitals are copy and paste from the website

Viscose is comfy isn't it?

Very comfy. 100% viscose does tend to wrinkle but not as bad as linnen (and easily sorted out with an ironing board).

It looks great especially if black and white suit you. I´d buy it!

CharlotteBog · 22/01/2024 10:02

I really like it, OP.
Please post a photo of you in it, if it looks good.

Giantwaterbottle4 · 22/01/2024 10:10

It's gorgeous definitely buy!

I think it’s good. But only if you can do the fastening by yourself- I have a jumpsuit with a zip up the back which I can’t reach.

Would you wear it with (dressy not sporty) trainers or ankle boots with a small heel?

Thread a long lace through the hole in the zipper pull and then you are able to pull it up with your arm over your shoulder.
I do it with mine and it is really easy.

Comefromaway · 22/01/2024 10:47

My daughter has a beautiful black viscose jumpsuit from Maje that was even more expensive (xmas present). Apart from the dry cleaning hassle it is a lovely fabric.

(It was reduced in the sale after xmas but I guess that's the risk and she wore it over xmas)

janeintheframe · 22/01/2024 11:01

That’s gorgeous, I’ve ordered too, saw a John Lewis review saying it’s hard to get on though, so not sure about that.

janeintheframe · 22/01/2024 11:02

I can’t work out where the zip is, can anyone?

2Rebecca · 22/01/2024 11:32

I have a long body so jump suits/ teddys etc often don't fit me well. It looks lovely

How hard can it be?
Maybe that person is not used to jumpsuits - I saw that review too -

Guess it depends on where the zip is…I’m hoping up the back ..

Agree but it is important to take any tool out with you for loo visits.

I hung around for ages in a restaurant bathroom waiting for someone to come in and zip me back up, I couldn't go into the dining room with my back flapping open!

Good tip..thanks, will need to remember that, hopefully that’s what rhe reviewer meant by hard to get in and out of.

mumtumok · 22/01/2024 17:20

Would go for a different colour Adidas’s with the outfit - wouldn’t do the browny sole personally but they would still work

janeintheframe · 23/01/2024 10:43

Well mine was a disaster. They delivered this morning, a pair of black skinny jeans with the Esther jumpsuit label on. Incorrectly labelled apparently, I now have to wait several days till they refund me, and of course my size is now out of stock.

so that went well…

MillicentTheMagnificent · 23/01/2024 10:55

Oh no @janeintheframe! That's so disappointing

Bit of a waste of time really..,surprisingly bad service too.

ZaZathecat · 23/01/2024 11:18

I don't usually love jumpsuits but that is gorgeous! I might hop on eBay and see if that size 10 is still there...

moomoomoo27 · 23/01/2024 12:06

Looks very Star Trek

LadeOde · 23/01/2024 12:48

@OP that is gorgeous! don't care what it's made of, its Reiss and their quality are well made. That jumpsuit speaks class!

Anjelika · 23/01/2024 13:02

Anyone with Next Directory, it's on there for £118. I pay the one-off annual fee for free delivery so have ordered in sizes 8 & 10 as I think it's gorgeous!
