Decent clothes for size 24

I'm fat, and I have become frumpy. I'm less and less convinced that I'm going to stop being fat, but 2024, the year of my current clothes size, shall also be the year that I stop wearing tracksuit bottoms outside of the gym.

Please give me the name of any plus size shop that isn't Yours or Evans!

Lots already mentioned but just to add Joules go up to a size 26 in a lot of their range. ‘Pretty Lavish’ do a curve range - lovely knitwear pieces etc. Only just discovered them via Amanda Holden wearing a gorgeous outfit by them the other day. Always wishing that Boden would increase their size range (currently up to size 22) I live in hope!

Haven't read the full thread, so apologies if someone has already suggested Matalan. They have some nice stuff in sometimes

Seasalt. Ulla Popken.

Sea salt will bankrupt you. They have gorgeous stuff but it's really expensive. I've just bought a lot of things in their sale & it's still not cheap. But I've got 2 gorgeous coats that fit my beautifully, and some nice tops too.

I wish I was rich enough to buy the lot!

Also try Live Unlimited - an online shop

Has mango been mentioned yet? They go up to a 26. Also (hear me out) Seasalt - some of their stuff is really nice. I don't care for their prints, but do like their solid colour things. Also George Asda can be nice. I like some of their limited collections.

PS: glad I found this thread and will be bookmarking it to look at in future

I'm a size 24 and buy from Sainsburys, Mango, White Stuff, Next, Phase 8 and M&S mostly.

Occasionally I find something in Asda and Woolovers have had good summer dresses in the past although they're a bit dowdy at present.

Haven't shopped in Evans or Yours for years as their sizing is way off and they seem to assume we want to wear tents or cheap black tat.

Basically I've found that ranges that extend to my size are much better than anything offering a separate curve collection.

So many places are suddenly better for inclusive sizing than they used to be.
I’m currently really into Next things. I love their jeans and jeggings which I live in. They have a new range ‘friends like these’ with gorgeous jersey tops which I size down in by 2 sizes.
Sainsbury’s also do some lovely soft hoodies and tops.
i ordered from BlomChic which I think is similar to Shein and was really surprised by how lovely the items were, much better fabric and finish than previous dabbles with Shein.

La Redoute isn't the right shape for me, sadly. The Long Tall Sally trousers are great, though they'll need altering. I also got some decent (whimsical) leggings from Rainbows and Sprinkles for working out. Next on the list: Next!

But have realised I missed a load of new posts and there's a lot to explore, which cheers me up no end!
