Who is the target audience and why? The soles look positively mouldy.

I'm in the USA and my daughters are in their late teens/early 20s. Ripped/distressed jeans have been out for a while in our area.

Those Balenciagas remind me of the time BIL's hiking boots came apart midway down Snowdon and we had to tie the sole on his one of the laces.

I'm wondering how this started (definitely men's shoes first). Probably some fashion-foward kids in the cities who dug out their dad's trainers from storage in the basement after 20+ years.

Then the IT bros wanted to look like they were just as edgy, except they sit at a computer and never exercise or do anything involving running or sweating. But they do make way too much money.

Ta-da! Ridiculously overpriced smeggy trainers.

Sorry to hijack but I just can’t believe sorry shoes or replacing a heel With a can of beer adds so much value lol
