Anyone else doing Jadvent?

I'm finally opening the bargain Christmas 2022 Cowshed AC for Jadvent. Seems apt to have a bracing shower gel for January 1st.

From Sephora yesterday, Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial which I’m looking forward to trying Today, black eyeliner from Rare Beauty which I’m looking forward to binning! Oh well, can’t win em all…

I am - Space NK. I'm pleased I've done it this way, gets rid of some of the January blues.

I like your approach. I put the black eyeliners in a box in the hope that I will suddenly find someone who uses them or I will take a sudden notion to start water lining with them regularly. I've done that occasionally and it does make the eyes pop but I'm a bit of a klutz and have been known to stab myself in the eye too. You need a liquid one for that though.

Dd swears by cheap smudgy black eye liner as a lip pencil. It works really well in her as she has full lips. I do not.

No 7 today is a primer. I expect I will need it within the next 3 years.

Today’s Sephora treat is two Beauty Pro sheet masks and a teeny bottle of Virtue healing oil.

Sephora today is a fragrance: Commodity Milk Expressive. Haven’t opened it yet but it sounds lovely from the description.

Late for yesterday (Space NK fragrance) but it was a full-sized Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille perfume. Top notes okay but it fades down to a lovely warm vanilla

Yesterday in No 7 was a foot scrub. I can't see me using this as intended but I love the hand scrub so will probably use it as a hand scrub instead. I'd imaging it's pretty much the same thing.

Today's is a day cream.

Today’s Sephora treat is Vegamour lash serum. For a smallish tube, it’s very heavy!

I have 3 ! Terrible few years and currently opening M&S 2022 , with 2023 and H&B 2023 to go .

I got One / Size On ‘Til Dawn setting spray today. Reviews look mixed but happy to give this a whirl and will be delighted if it actually works.

I’ve been working away a lot and completely muddled up with where I’m at on my calendar.

I think since last posting I’ve had an aromatherapy associates stress roller thingy, a mini conditioner, a mirror and a rose inc blush.

I’m still enjoying it and wish I’d had it for December.

Yesterday was the last day of my 12-day Space NK (J)advent calendar. Day 11 was a Floral Street small perfume and small candle. Perfume went to my friend’s teenaged DD, as did today’s Malin &Goetz Dark Rum to her DS. Also got Escentric Molecules E02 which I will open and try later.
Verdict: glad I decided to do Jadvent - it was fun! I think 12 days is plenty for a fragrance calendar. I’m a bit of a fragrance whore so like chopping and changing.

Rose Inc satin lipstick in Persuasive - a sort of brick colour - from Sephora today. May be gifted elsewhere as I don’t think it’s my colour.

I've missed a couple of days with No 7.

Today's is a little retinol, which I'm happy with. Previous days were a body wash and a foaming cleanser. Not a fan of either but will use both in the shower.

Today’s treat from Sephora is Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. Another one I’ve not heard of, it seems to have good reviews but I’m a little wary of things that give you ‘glow’ as that tends to translate as shiny and oily on me.

@Talisin I got that in last year's CB I think. I really liked it. Definitely wasn't oily or shiny on me. Hopefully it will work for you.

No 7 is a tube of face mask.

Beautifect Blender this morning - not terribly interesting, but useful.

Have finished opening M&S 2022 !
Opened a few and really surprised at the Clinique items !
Think it's a great calendar with 2 x perfumes and lots of choice
Deciding whether it's 2023 next or H&B !
