Which backpack Gucci or LV

What’s everyone’s thoughts on these backpacks? Anyone have one and can tell me a honest review ? Which one everyone prefers etc Thank you

Both horrible. Expensive rubbish for designer groupies.

No I’m not set on has to be one of these I just wanted opinions as thinking of getting one. I guess after thinking about it , I personally prefer the Gucci - both are canvas and I was looking at preloved as Gucci around £800 Lv around £1500 😱
i will continue to look as I’m not in a rush to buy. I appreciate everyone’s thoughts and it’s fine if some don’t like them at all - the world would be boring if we all liked the same stuff etc.

I prefer the Gucci one. Although LV canvas looks more durable/weather proof and probably would hold its value more.

Omg, they're canvas! So you're not even paying for leather, but plastic?

As a big fan of Gucci, I completely agree with this. Not a fan of the big brand print all over it, it looks garish and like you want the world to know your bag is from Gucci. I'd probably go for something more understated, and dark or neutral.

I like both op I too am after a back pack. I would go with the lv.

I think the problem with both those designs is that they are so ubiquitous that everyone will assume they are fakes costing a fiver from several years ago. There are much classier styles/patterns out there, even from those designers, if you want one particularly.

He was wearing a very expensive looking watch too. Even if it wasn’t fake though, there’s still something cheap to me about ostentatious expense.
The scene in itself was entertainment enough, but I’d have loved for another passenger to have sat down opposite and struck up some curious conversation. He had his Gucci clad feet on the seat opposite though 😁and, as I said, there was a sea of LV luggage around him.
I did think that all was not perfect in his house of Gucci though. Just the fact that he was swigging from this big bottle of pink fizz all alone.
Far more value in moderation, I’d say.

Sorry OP but they're both awful - particularly the LV.

I've never understood why anyone wants clothes or bags with obvious logos and LV is the worst offender for this.

Neither would be my style but I prefer the look of the Gucci!

I would say the LV coated canvas is more hard wearing than the Gucci.

The LV will last you a lifetime as their coated canvas is extremely durable and hard wearing plus it will hold some resale value . The Gucci one will not be as durable and I doubt that their stock holds value (especially after Alessandro Michele tenure!). I would choose a LV Damier or a Goyard .

That Lv is the Palm Springs pm size , what about the Palm Springs mini does anyone have that ? I prefer the look of the thinner straps on that but still unsure 🫤

a lot are saying lv resell better so may lean towards that and get a different type of bag in the Gucci Ophidia as I do really like that print

I don’t know about Gucci but LV ones are not real leather but still charge extortionate prices and their craftsmanship has seriously gone down

That’s no better. The problem is the prints themselves - on both the LV and the Gucci. Just my opinion, of course.

I wouldn't get either. Not because they're unattractive bags or you have bad taste! It's just that there are SO many fakes around, and I'd hate to spend that much for no one to know the difference!
