Home gel nails

I keep seeing adverts for various types of home gel nails - polish plus lamp, stickers plus lamp, stickers that don't need lamp etc. anyone tried these and can recommend or not? Trying for the hundredth time to stop biting my nails (they're currently very very short) so not sure if they'd even work for that...

I’ve had great results with the Mylee kit, but you do need a steady hand and some patience.

I think the wraps need a free edge of nail to fold over so might be difficult on really short nails.

If you do decide to go for gel, do your research on allergies so you know the risks 🙂

DD has the Mylee kit. It works pretty well, with patience and she has also started to do her own tips.

Mind you, I had a professional Shellac mani recently and it's a world apart as the manicurist spent time cleaning up cuticles etc. as well. So maybe get a professional one first and watch how they do it?
