Want to dress up, but nowhere to go (or go with 🥰) Fantasy wardrobe creation

I used to love getting dressed up and glam. Not from a vanity perspective but the fun and excitement of it. I’m now older with two kids a DH in tow. There never seems to be an opportunity to do this anymore and my friends don’t really do it either- mainly because we are all knackered with life responsibilities.

So thought, if anyone feels the same or up for it- want to choose tonight’s (fantasy if I was going out) outfit? OP, those sandals are beautiful and fine for the pub. But if you want to feel less guilty, M7S have similar for £50 and New Look for only £30 - but the heels aren't as elegant.

I think the world could use a bit more dressing up tbh. I love it when I see someone looking dressy in the supermarket or whatever. I am enjoying comfort more and more these days, but trying to find something in between. I have to dress up a little bit for work as we have a dress code. I think that's less common these days and I'm quite glad I have to get dressed properly as think I'd miss it if I wfh in my jeans all the time (which I 100% would do if given the chance)!

Thanks! That's not bad actually, don't know about the multicolour but it's definitely in the right area. I'm either going for a sequin bomber or a black sequin t-shirt/top to go under a velvet shirt.

I've always been wary of Shein but you do get some bold choices for men that you don't necessarily get on the high street, are they worth taking a punt on?
