I'm excited to use the Murad! I think I will wait a bit though, as I've just started using the Sarah Chapman and I don't want to introduce too many new products at once (or risk upsetting my skin!!).

Pleased with the Charlotte tilbury mascara yesterday - can’t remember if I’ve tried it before but find most mascaras fine

I think today is the first day I’ve been a bit meh about the contents. I have about four mini black rose masks that I never remember to use. A 5ml sample - I don’t mind samples as such as I use them for travel but not sure 5ml would stretch for a week? I’m sure both are exceedingly expensive

Agreed re: sizes. I am going to use the Sisley L'Integral as an eye cream (since it's anti-aging) to get more use out of it!

How do we feel about today's Killian perfume?

I think it's lovely, but I will admit that I was expecting more based on reviews! However I do like sweet scents so I will certainly wear it.

It smells like the oud and cocoa demi candle from the ok advent calendar. This perfume is so far the only item I've tried from this calendar. I've kept all the others in the drawers. I still think I would have regretted not buying it but I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would

Oh yes!!! My favourite smell as a little girl was my little strawberry shortcake doll! No wonder I felt nostalgic when having a sniff Smile

Have been following the waifs and strays thread but coming back here to say I loved the mascara. Used it this morning and it was very lovely.

Agree with this - I bought the Vogue calendar as felt the last few years of the Liberty calendar was getting a bit samey. However given how much more expensive this one was, I'm not (yet) seeing the value or feeling that much more luxury compared to Liberty.

Joining you bit late! Was very excited to receive the calendar from my DH 💕

My thoughts so far..

star necklace - I feel it’s bit young for me but have worn it few times.

The earrings - I really dislike hoops like these 😬 thanks for PP finding out what material they are made off, very odd that it’s not mentioned on their website at all. Sadly these hoops are wasted on me.

Sarah Chapman moisturiser - very nice but I find hyacinth scent bit too cloying.

Murad, Elemis & Sisley - pleased with these, have not tried any yet though.

Ren body oil - love it, straight to use

Silk eye mask - bit meh, tend to never use them.

Olaplex - these type of products don’t suit my fine hair. Will put this on Vinted.

PP said they got a CT mascara on Monday??? I got an eyebrow gel instead. Which I’m happy with (but it’s not as good as the Rose Inc brow gel from last year’s Liberty calendar)

Edit: and yes it was Day 1.

I’ve just tried the perfume - ooooffff that is sweet!

Not sure if it dries down to something less cloying? £45 for this little bottle apparently

Saying that, I really do like the calendar. The perfume isn’t my thing but it’s a fancy brand and it’s always nice to try these things
Have been wearing the gold hoops and the necklace, using all the creams and feel very swish!

@SunMootStars I think the benefit of this gel (for me, at least!) is that it has added rosemary oil to help with brow hair growth - mine are a bit sparse so hopefully it does something. I can definitely smell the rosemary when I put it on!

Candle - bit meh. I mean I like candles but rarely burn them as DH is not keen on them.

I’m sorry for inadvertently revealing the eye brow gel the other day. I had mixed up days 11 and 14 🫣 sorry again!! I do like a brow gel, I have microbladed brows but I feel bit of brow gel finishes them off nicely👌🏼.

Oooh if there is a regrowth element I will definitely be using! My 45 year old eye brows could definitely use some help there! I think I just read something about making your eyebrows "slicker" and it gave me a greasy vibe so didn't think it was for me!!! 😁
