I agree with asking for contributions from anyone who would buy a token gift. When everyone feels they need to put in £20, and there are five of them, then the jersey you want is suddenly affordable. I bought a plain, perfect black bag for my birthday. Nobody knew what I wanted, and I didn't want the £20 worth of rubbish they might otherwise have given me, so speak up and ask for something towards what you want and will enjoy wearing for the next five or ten years, while it keeps you warm and Toasty.
