Laugh out loud clothing

I have a pretty much live and let live attitude to clothing. Generally if I see something a bit out there, I just shrug and think good on whoever wants that.

But occasionally I see something that seems so ridiculous, that it makes me laugh out loud. Would love to see if anyone else has this reaction to some items and would particularly love to see screenshots/ links to them. Very much need a bit of cheering up/distraction today.

I don’t think it would suit Kate Moss either because she’s a fashion model for fairly straightforward fashion brands, I think as pps have said it would be more suited to someone with a more radical/creative outlook

The members on my Vulval Lichen Sclerosis forum love this picture. It takes pride of place in our photo gallery along with any other accidental lady bits images we can find. You’d be amazed at how many photos we have.

Sarcasm aside, this is a thread on the internet discussing laugh out loud clothing which for me that outfit is. I never said others could not like it, the designer would not be putting clothes like that for sale if they did not sell.

Agree. It's awful. Looks like something from Big Love. Even Chloe Sevigny would struggle to make it look good.

I could see people in my gym wearing those nude coloured leggings.
I wouldn’t wear any of the outfits posted on here. The only one I kind of like is the Roksanda one, not the fringe thing but the black jacket and caramel skirt, that does look like a decent outfit. I could imagine swanning around Whitby during goth week wearing that.

That outfit and the "terrible" Raey outfit are not remotely "laugh out loud'".

I need a cheaper version of that cape. I want.

Really? I can completely understand that this is not to your personal taste. Fair enough.

But to not understand why anyone likes it? Raey are great at this stuff. It's luxe leisure in a fabulous fabric with a nod to 90s hip hop.

Do you think the only legitimate aesthetics are ones that conform to your taste and you would wear personally?

The Raey top just looks ridiculous with the matching trousers and the model’s pose. It’s loungewear and I’d wear something like that (but cheaper!) with jeans or leggings to WFH, but I think you’d look daft going out in the full set.

Not at all. Clearly some on this thread like the outfits and similar outfits and that is, of course, fine and to be expected.

If you don't want to hear the fact that I personally think the outfits are worthy of laughter, then stop quoting me.

The blue outfit could look amazing on someone 6ft tall with enormous confidence at London fashion week; IMO if you are a normal-looking average-height woman and wore it to Sainsburys you’d look completely bonkers (though still of course have every right to do so if you like!}

A lot of this is about context and who can carry things off. it doesn’t help that a lot of “cool”/fashiony clothes are posed ridiculously in the pics.

But we can disagree about which clothes look laughable surely? This thread has been full of people posting pics and others saying “actually I love that” and discussing it without getting offended. Such is the fun of s&b.

@SukeDamson The proportions. It even makes the model look like a gnome. Her legs are about 2 inches long.

Not to mention the fact that her trousers cover her shoes and it gives the silhouette that you are a giant grey pear.
