I bought these boots...but now don't know how to wear them!

I've been in love with them for about 2 years. They arrived this week. They're beautiful. And comfortable.

But....what do I wear them with?!? I see them with tights and skirts and dresses. But trousers...I like mom jeans and tapered but socks/no socks?? Hmm!!

I have them. They go with jeans (all kinds), black trousers, chunky knitted dresses. I wear them a lot

I follow a personal stylist who has these boots or some almost identical. You might need to look through her posts but she has styled these on her Instagram. She's had them a while so you might need to look back to last year but hopefully you'll find some inspiration.

Did you keep the boots, @chalkyc2? I ask because I am sure I saw someone wearing them this week and she looked bloody amazing!

She was wearing a flowy midi dress with no attempt to match the boots. Very much 'the wrong shoe' theory (I am a subscriber to this theory - I like the 'surprise' of a non-obvious shoe with an outfit!).

That's probably why I thought lots of the suggestions on the thread to wear black skinny trousers could emphasise the rock chick/cowboy aspects of the boots and make it all a bit 'line dancer'...

They are so lovely! They go with most things. I'd wear them with patterned tights, dresses and straight jeans/trousers.

I kept them! I haven't worn them much yet but I keep trying them on with things and they're super comfortable!

Yay! I bet once you wear them out somewhere, you'll wear them loads. It's also a risk that if you haven't worn them yet, you hardly will - but if they bring you joy to have them then so what?

You could wear these with almost anything. You're over thinking enjoy them and invisible socks so you don't hurt your feet or make them smell.

Skinny jeans with the length down to the top of the shoes. Wear socks. You'll make your £279 boots stink if you don't. No one will see your socks if your jeans are long enough.

Maybe a mid range length black denim skirt and thick black tights.

I'm sorry but tn my opinion I think they are really tacky. Think Primark/Mark 1 back in the day.

Oh, nonsense. I've worn tights and shorts for several years now without getting thrush. As long as they aren't jammed up your arse it's absolutely fine.

Am I the only one who thinks chunky/slouchy socks on a cold day between boots and jeans is ok? I think this would make the boots more wearable.
