Does anything really work for crepey skin on chest?

It's no good. All these years I've taken care of the skin on my face but totally neglected my decolletage. My face looks ten years younger than my neck and chest. Is there any lotion or potion that actually reverses the lines and crepey skin? Help!

Not crepey, but I do sleep on my side and the creases from that were becoming more and more persistent. I tried using Cerave SA on it- I bought it for KP on my arms- and it has made a huge difference.

I think I might have some of the Cerave SA. Do you just wash your chest with it every day, or do you leave it on?

If toy use a Glycolic Acid, and then a retinol, do you then use the moisturiser on top?

I wouldn't recommend using them together because they can both be irritating. Try introducing them slowly, and maybe on alternative nights. And use sunscreen during the day.

I basically use whatever skincare I use on my face on my neck, chest and backs of hands.

I use strivectin, I bought it for my neck but it has visibly improved the texture of my decolletage. Have a look for a small size pot if you can to try it out first and see if it works for you before you invest in a big pot as its pricy.

The one I’ve got is cream rather than a wash/cleanser, so just put it on and leave it to be absorbed like any moisturiser.

@Bookist I'm afraid I do- and ample ones too

Thank you. Just checked and mine is the SA body wash. Will get the cream instead x

I’ve got a monthly Skin and Me subscription for Tretonoin. I don’t use it every night for various reasons, so have quite a few days worth left over. As a result I use it on my neck and décolletage a few nights a week, and it has transformed it.

Most important thing you can do is SPF to prevent further damage.

Take your normal skincare routine all the way down to the chest area.

That BeautyPie spray recommended by @SoRainbowRhythms is good. I think BeautyPie do lots of taster days now where you don’t have to become a member.

Strivectin is also supposed to be good.

The skin on your neck and chest is thinner and a bit more fragile so lots of hydration will help. I wouldn’t use a glycolic on mine as I have quite sensitive skin. I use my normal facial cleanser with a warm wet face cloth which seems to be enough exfoliation. Occasionally I’ll use an exfoliating treatment there.

I’m wary of using a retinol there too but if you do use a very gentle one and buffer it by using a moisturiser first. Or use a night cream with retinol.

Another vote for the beauty pie serum 💯

Thank you for all your advice. I've started taking my usual skincare all the way down to the tops of my boobs. I had a bottle of Clarins Double Serum, which I didn't like on my face, so have started using that on my throat and decollete, followed by a rich moisturiser. It's only been a couple of days but it definitely looks a bit smoother. Really wish I had started taking care of this area years ago.
