Has anyone tried skin and me?

I'm 30 next year and still suffer with acne. Last time I went to the GP I was prescribed doxycycline and even though it made me feel sick I stuck with the course but it didn't help. I use benzoyl every night and have tried countless products but it's like I'm destined to have bad skin. I'm really embarssed of the fact I'm almost 30 and suffer with this. I have seen a product called skin and me pop up a few times online but always from influencers whose opinion I don't trust so I wanted to see if anyone had tried it and if it does really help? I don't have lots of spare money to spend so want to get opinions first or if anyone happens to have a product that miraculously cured their acne and doesn't break the bank please let me know 😅 (I have dry skin not oily).

It ruined my skin too, stung like mad.
Dermatica is a much better option. The tret which is what helps the most is a stronger strength and a strength proven to make a difference. I have only been using Dermatica 3 months and the difference for me is amazing. My skin glows and pores are massively reduced. I can already see my fine lines vanishing.
I do have a code for a reduced subscription, if you are considering signing up feel free to message me and I will gladly share it.

I’ve used both Dermatica and skin and me.

I prefer Dermatica for a couple of reasons. 1) price 2) they seem to look at your consultation really carefully and be more willing to individualise prescriptions than skin and me 3) I like their cleanser and moisturiser - skin and me cleanser and moisturisers were v. basic in comparison.

Both work really well though. I would say that the only downside to Dermatica is that their packaging isn’t as nice.

It would be for my DD who is 18 and has never been able to shake her mild but persistent acne. If it cleared up your acne, did you have to continue using it? I'm fine paying for it for a few months but not if she has to continue using it indefinitely.

@bookmarket To my knowledge topical skincare only works while you’re using it.

I’m on Skin&Me (for pigmentation, not acne) and expect to see ‘final’ results in about six months from starting, although I am finding improvements are building slowly even after a few weeks.

To maintain those results I expect that will have to keep using it.
