Sold out on line - has anyone seen this in store???

I am really taken with this jacket. I think it is one of those pieces that could be worn for years over different blouses/tops and both dressed up and down.

Unfortunately, on both the UK and the Irish sites of M&S, it's sold out on line in my size.

Has anyone seen this in store?

I've put in the details of all of the M&S stores on both sites that are near me (or that are a driveable distance to me) and they don't have it in stock according to their stock checker.

Any ideas?

There is one size 20 in Plymouth. If you fancy a trip to the West Country.

I think this item is likely to come back into stock, because it hasn’t been out of stock that long (recent reviews) and people will make returns. One review also mentions this style was out last year so it’s not a one season wonder.

I would not trust the stock checker and travel a long way as I find it v unreliable (more unreliable than other retailers), plus someone could buy the last one it claims to have whilst you’re en route.

There's one size 20 in Reading.

The store locator is strange though - I live within easy driving distance of the Reading store but it didn't come up as an option.

Can you call one of the stores that has it in stock and see if they can either ship it to you or transfer it to a local store for you?

I saw a size 20 in Reading today!

There is one of each in 20 and 22 in Colchester Stane Park branch

Even with Ryanair, the prospect of flying to London and tube/bus fairs that would be a bit too far to go for a jacket. Thanks though @RosyappleA 😆

Ok - What I think I’ll do is go to my local M&S store and see if they do store to store (rather than stockroom to store) transfer now that I know that there are some in stores still.

I just did a store check and it says one in store in a 20 in shoreham
