Has anyone ever bought from snag tights before?

Just placed my first order! Really hoping I'm going to receive some tights which don't fall down constantly or pull easily!

Had some. Was underwhelmed. M and S or Boots or even Tesco are at least as good, fit just as well, and are half the price. Plus I’m suspicious about the number of threads that always appear on here this time of year extolling them in a strangely similar writing style.

RichPetunia · 29/09/2023 20:36

I repeatedly buy from snag. Love them so much I won't go anywhere else. Best fitting tights by a mile🤩.

I was very underwhelmed by them, my cheap Tesco pair are better. Not sure where I'm going wrong as most people live them. I hope they work for you...

What size / height are you?

NorthFaceofthelaundrypile · 29/09/2023 20:51

I think the tights are rubbish. Fall down, rub really quickly between the thighs, loads of holes in feet. These problems all occur really quickly, whereas I’ve had M&S tights that last a good few years.

I do really like the chub rub tights, though I find the hemming quality really low, but I’d never buy another pair of the tights. Total waste of money.

BCBird · 29/09/2023 20:55

I fund them frest. Have still got sime opaque tights from 3 tears ago. Got lots of funky ones too. Well worth the little bit extra codt

BCBird · 29/09/2023 20:55

Sorry . I'm.not illiterate. Sausage fingers 🙈

Streamorwatchlive · 29/09/2023 21:00

These threads often pop up. If they’re not by snag employees I’ll eat my weird fetish supporting tights

Salvagehunter · 29/09/2023 21:01

I promise I'm not an employee of Snag, they're fab

RampantIvy · 29/09/2023 21:04

Unless Snag quality has declined and M and S has improved significantly I can't agree with you. I'm 5'7", size 12/14 with long legs, and my Snag tights are the best fitting ones I have. They don't feel too tight, they haven't laddered, they don't fall down and the crotch stays where it should, unlike my M and S tights which slip down.

And, no I am not employed by any tights manufacturers.

user73 · 29/09/2023 21:05

Tights ought not to have a political agenda. Plus they’re distinctly average tights. DSis had some which I borrowed when I stayed over unexpectedly. They are truly no better than supermarket tights.

Lentilweaver · 29/09/2023 07:57

Could anyone suggest where else I can get colourful and durable tights? I am a tights newbie as I rarely wear dresses, but I have bought a few for autumn. I would like blue, green, burgundy....

Agree about their values.

Better Tights is good. Similar product, zero fetish adverts.

SkyFullofStars1975 · 29/09/2023 21:11

Truthfully I think they've overhyped and far too generously sized. I'm a 18/20 and happy to wear that label in my clothes. I don't want to vanity size as a 14/16 when I'm nowhere near. They were far too long and far too wide... I needed to do a superman and wear my pants on the outside to keep them up!

As for their ethos, no thanks. I've stuck to M & S Autograph ones since.

N4ish · 29/09/2023 21:16

Their website makes it very clear that their target market is not averagely sized middle aged women like me so I now avoid them.

ferretface · 29/09/2023 21:24

I blocked Snag from advertising at me 😂 after I got fed up of NSFW advertising following me round the internet. I don't know what their target market is but it isn't me!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 29/09/2023 21:37

I bought some at the beginning, and thought they were rubbish, quite snaggy and also shiny. Now I wouldn’t buy tights from them even if the alternative was going around with a bare arse in -10 temps, their marketing is horrendous. 🤮

Switcher · 29/09/2023 21:41

They appear to work well for bodies that lack childbearing hips.

I have child bearing hips and they are the most comfortable and best fitting tights I own.

MillicentTrilbyHiggins · 29/09/2023 22:24

I've definitely got child bearing hips! The reason they fit me better than any other tights I've ever had is because they do 'short' ones so they are actually the right length for my very very short legs.

Allthingspeaches · 30/09/2023 07:35

They seemed nice but laddered on first wear for me so never went back.

TheChosenTwo · 30/09/2023 07:41

Would never buy anything else now. M&S tights infuriate me, constantly falling down and need readjusting, snag just fit perfectly.
Don’t give a shit about their advertising stance tbh, their tights do what I need them to do and that’s as deep as I need to go.

Mystery2345 · 30/09/2023 09:11

I was put off by the advertising (making women look like clowns etc) - maybe should give them a go, as the reviews here do seem fairly good.

Thomasthe · 30/09/2023 09:18

The good- they fit well, look good, don’t fall down and are comfy to wear. Their chub rub shorts are great & long wearing.

The bad- they ladder insanely quickly. As in first couple of wears for me. I can’t justify the cost on that basis and wouldn’t recommend them.

SirChenjins · 30/09/2023 09:23

Better Tights all the way - far better quality than Snag imo and without all the grim fetish stuff.

RampantIvy · 30/09/2023 11:52

I have had mi60 denier tights for about 4 years and they haven't laddered. What denier did you get @Thomasthe?
