Has anyone ever bought from snag tights before?

Just placed my first order! Really hoping I'm going to receive some tights which don't fall down constantly or pull easily!

I had no idea of the background of Snag tights, but I don't follow them on social media. I get that they are trying to be inclusive of women of all sizes, but I think they try too hard with all the pus size photos. If I didn't know better I would think they only catered for plus size.

CheesyChipsOnWembleyWay · 29/09/2023 08:14

Quality massively decreased a couple of years back. I've pairs that are 5 years old still in perfect condition. Newer ones badly laddered or bobbled.

I've heard good things about better tights so they will be my next try

Justkoko · 29/09/2023 08:14

I've had their stuff, certainly no better than any other offerings, the waistband tends to roll down which is the opposite of what I want. I'd just buy from the supermarket or wherever.
And I agree with pp re previous ad campaigns.

Lentilweaver · 29/09/2023 08:15

😁

Thanks for the Better Tights suggestion. Going to try them. Nice colours.

MissBattleaxe · 29/09/2023 08:22

I love mine. Some of them are six years old and despite having four sharp clawed lap cats, there are no ladders. The colours and fit are great and they are really comfy. I get the coloured opaques and I have a whole palette of them. I don't much like the visuals though.

ActDottie · 29/09/2023 08:28

Yes I love them!!!

Been meaning to try them but unsure about sizing. I’m a 14-16, not sure whether to order 12-14 or 16-18? Can anyone advise?

I'd go with the 12-14. They are quite roomy (but well elasticated, so there's no saggy baggying).

SunnySomer · 29/09/2023 08:40

To Lentilweaver’s question. They cost an arm and a leg, but Falke tights are superb quality. I wash them on a wool setting. Look good on and very consistent after multiple wears (no bobbling, stretching, laddering etc).

Shadypaws23 · 29/09/2023 08:45

They're the only tights that fit me

WeWillLookBack · 29/09/2023 08:59

TLDRfuckers - 100%
I did order some - they were ok, not great. I did think about ordering some more - but then saw their agenda on supporting TRAs and Fetishes. Never buying from them ever again.

RampantIvy · 29/09/2023 09:01

As a result of this thread I went and had a look at their website.

Harnesses! WTF?

NyanBinaryJohn · 29/09/2023 09:02

Love their tights, not their ethos.

So I will wear the ones I have, but not order again.

Shinyandnew1 · 29/09/2023 09:33

They are overpriced tights imo. They are uncomfortable around the waist and no better than a pair from M+S. I really wish I hadn’t bothered!

I’ll carry on wearing comfortable black leggings under dress. With boots on, there’s only a few inches showing anyway!

LivingDeadGirlUK · 29/09/2023 09:38

I think the quality has gone a bit down hill, they still fit great but they don’t feel as nice as m&s.

Chub rub shorts are ace though!

Haffiana · 29/09/2023 09:47

Manzi tights from Amazon are better quality. I have some that are worn year after year and still look good and are soft and comfortable.

PLUS you can just buy them without needing to be an unwilling participant in someone else's autoerotic fetish to cosplay what they imagine a woman is.

FluffActually · 29/09/2023 09:51

People in the know, are Heist better - tights or politics?

FannyBawz · 29/09/2023 09:53

Their advertising is revolting. So, no!

usernother · 29/09/2023 09:57

TLDRfuckers · 28/09/2023 23:04

I’ll bite.

As long as you don’t mind the money you give them going toward crass advertising campaigns aiming to normalise mastectomies on healthy breast tissue.

And glamorising unnecessary surgery on impressionable and possibly mentally unwell young women who have had the misfortune to be told they can change sex.

but yeah great tights that stay up over fat thighs/arses and all that…

This is why I don't buy them.

HermioneWeasley · 29/09/2023 10:13

Like @TLDRfuckers i object to them normalising young women having double mastectomies for cosmetic reasons, so I am also out.

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 29/09/2023 10:17

Yep, only placed an order last night. Only tights I'll order now.

HughCanoe · 29/09/2023 12:10

HughCanoe · 29/09/2023 08:13

That's why I switched to Better tights too ⬆️.

(Love the user name - learning Garlic myself, building on very rusty Irish!)

Learning Gaelic not garlic -😁

ColonelRhubarbBikini · 29/09/2023 12:43

I love the chub rub shorts. I don’t get chub rub anyway (only cause I’ve a pelvis like a bucket so my legs are far apart not a stealth brag) but they’re lovely under dresses to keep you cool, stop your thighs sticking to hot plastic garden furniture in the summer, not having to worry about bending over and showing knickers etc.

I hated the tights though. Absolutely loathed them. They felt slippy and unsupportive and like they were falling down all the time even though they weren’t. The toe part made my toes sore too the way they bunched.

Gave them away to a friend and I’m sticking with my Asda cheapo ones that are SO much better.

melissasummerfield · 29/09/2023 13:00

The tights are great if you are tall / fat wierdly shaped ( me ) however I too stopped buying them due to their company values and advertising alienating presumably their main customer base - WOMEN.

GetDressedYeMerryGentlemen · 29/09/2023 20:01

Pretty Polly 360 are better IMO

PinkTonic · 29/09/2023 20:11

I bought a pair once. They were ok but nothing special and then they went weird with their advertising and I don’t think I am their target market being neither male or morbidly obese. Heist tights are the best.
