Had to defrost my car this morning! Noooooo. Dress from Baukjen back in the day when they made great dresses. Boots are my new favourite from Terry de Havilland. They are so comfy I may never take them off, lol.

Ah it’s just after midnight! Tuesday I wore this. It’s definitely cardigan weather, it’s so cold and I’m very glad I knitted this one! I have to make one for DH now

Good morning. I'm layering up a vintage dress with a modern jumper. I needed the sheepskin on the dog walk this morning! So layers it is.

Very grey this morning. Storm Babet is forecast to arrive later today. I spoke to DD last night - she said it was already very windy in Cornwall. I usually like autumn, but not this year. Can’t really put my finger on why that is. Perhaps it’s linked to the ongoing building work (we have a complete roof now, but we’re missing a wall).

Thank you for the coat compliments @IndianSummer78 & @Rollerbird . I love it but rarely get it out as I 'chuck on' whatever is closest on the coat rack the poor coat has been languishing in my wardrobe for more than 10 years.

@Sooverthemill can you recommend any great knitting/wool shops in central London? I don't think you live in London but you may know of the holy grail of knitting in the capital!

DD and I are shopping on Saturday mainly for clothes, but she's taken up crochet, and I'm on the knitting nursery slopes and want to branch out from Wool and the Gang!

@faffadoodledo in central London Beautiful knitters ( Pimlico). There are others I’d recommend that are in other places eg Richmond, Clapton or Stoke Newington. You may find some stuff in John Lewis on Oxford street but it’s likely to be big brands and not very exciting. What kinds of stuff?

It is definitely the time for cosy clothes @Sooverthemill , I've finished for the day and am in my adult 'rompersuit' as it was sold back then.

Had another site meeting this morning, so I had to dress for warmth and practicality. I may have had too many layers on under my PPE.

Ooh, love that shirt @faffadoodledo, great colours. I need to go into town later - it’s not too bad here in central Scotland, up north it’s really wild. I hope everyone in the north of Scotland is ok! Dress is All Saints. Still deciding on the layering, lol. Boots are EMP. Oversized jumper is Alexander Wang, the other one is Me&Em. Probably going with the latter is it’s lighter so easier to wear layers over it, waterproofs etc! Stay safe, warm and dry everyone.
