@NotQuiteUsual Beautiful items of clothing there. Are they vintage? I'd love to know your favourite hunting grounds!

Today's items are all modern, but charity shopped. I find charity shops with price limits are great. Then it's a case of being persistent and knowing how to identify vintage. Usually it comes in fits and starts, if someone clears out their elderly relatives house you get in influx of vintage sometimes. So if you're there often enough you can snap things up before resellers get there.

The vintage salvation army boutique shop in the next town and the vintage British heart Foundation in Newcastle are my favourites but they're the more pricey options. It's better to find vintage that's slipped through the net in normal charity shops. I'd never shop in an actual vintage boutique as they're out my budget and it feels like cheating to me 🤣 I love a challenge.

Ooh, great cardigan @Sooverthemill, that looks cozy! I needed to nip out and not happy about it, it’s cold and wet! Harem pants from Michael Kors (ancient) with Hush boots and a Smiths tee. Quite a few layers on top before I actually left the house too!

Sods law I can't get to my mirror at the moment to take a pic of my outfit as the bedroom is in complete disarray....I tried tidying, then made more mess, why is it that it looks worse before it looks better! 🤦‍♀️

Yesterday skirt white stuff, cardigan jigsaw, thermal M&S. Forecast to be very cold today so cosy outfit looked out.

Going for a cottagecore layered look because there's 1mm of snow and I'm not about that. I think I'll add a scarf though. Needs more layers.

There, I added a scarf and sheepskin. But is it enough layers? Should I add some leggings and a hat? Maybe another scarf? I don't want any part of me to touch the outside today.

Baltic. Got Weather Warnings, but no snow as yet. Just adopted another Spanish rescue dog, who will no doubt curse me if it does snow, lol. I was asked to take her due to her behaviour issues but she’s been a sweetie so far. She’s the one on the floor photobombing, lol. Combat-style trousers are M&S. jumper is from the Jigsaw sale - couldn’t help it, it’s such a pretty colour. Pashmina is from Pure many years ago.

So cold! I wonder if I can work out where my thermal base layers are currently stored? I seem to be having a monochrome type of week.

Thank you @faffadoodledo , I think that over time it has shrunk. DH doesn't care for any type of material, be it wool, linen, cotton or a mix, he bundles it all in together at 40 or 60. I have tried to explain separating the items by colour or material, or using different washing powder / liquid for different clothes... but we are still working on that. Meanwhile many items have shrunk. It may be asked why he does the washing, but I am grateful for small mercies. I actually think that he needs to wash his sport stuff and just bungs everything else in to make up for the volume. He is a whizz at cleaning the kitchen though, it's like living with a cleaning fairy when he WFH.

Less than zero here so still just trying to keep warm.
