I have a gorgeous new jumper from Toast 😍 but it's a real extravagance so I'm putting it away for Christmas- a present to myself (been a stressful year of working fulltime and doing an MSc so figured I deserve a treat).

I love an investment jumper @EllaPaella . And that one is really fun and lovely. There's a Finisterre one in oatmeal i'm lusting after and it may make it to my xmas list.
I think the best leather jackets are really old @Purplecatshopaholic . I bought a new one a few years ago. Big mistake. It wasnt going to start looking great in my lifetime, so I sold it!
Wedding was great and I felt comfy. I nearly wore a Rixo dress (long, lean, forties type silhouette) but it needed an architecture of shape wear to look it's best. I'm so glad I opted for comfort and was able to enjoy the day. i took flat shoes for the dancing too, and was gratified that many of the young 'uns did the same

I have one a bit like it but longer, in pale pink. I look like a boiler cover made of marshmallow in it but it's lovely and warm so I wear it anyway.

Today's outfit and because I keep forgetting to post, here's Saturday nights outfit. My amazing 80s cocktail dress I got for a couple pounds that still had the original labels!

Off to a meeting in our big city so have smartened myself up (well, smart by Cornish standards!)

Will add a waterproof coat to ruin everything!

I’m enjoying flouncing around the office in my skirt. And I’ve located my docs - which I expect will get worn on repeat for most of the winter.

+26 yesterday and +21 today, but mornings are a bit chilly so I'm wearing my pumpkin jumper

I'm going to forgive you your mirror @Purplecatshopaholic . As a fellow dog owner I think you have a cast iron excuse!

@Purplecatshopaholic my dog regularly ruins my mirror too, so I won't ever judge a smudged mirror.
