Another bargain Asda dress today.

Been catching up on the thread. Lots of lovely outfits, I personally am thrilled at the return of colder weather, bringing with it knitwear and winter boots ☺️
I'm off to Scotland tomorrow in my campervan so won't be posting again for a while but today I was wearing Levi's (Vinted) Steve Madden boots and a roll neck from Arket.

Wow @EllaPaella we've put our van into winter hibernation. Yours must have some super duper insulation!

We went last October half term as well and it really wasn't cold at all.. I have all the thermal insulation for the windows overnight and a really good ceramic heater which gives off and maintains loads of heat so as long as we have electric HU we're fine. We also take our warm winter duvets but to be honest last year we didn't even need the radiator. I think there's going to be a fair amount of rain unfortunately but I still can't wait to get away, Scotland is just so beautiful and remote. I love it.

We do too @EllaPaella , and tbh you can just as easily get grotty weather in the summer. We once returned to Cornwall from a damp trip to Mull and Harris and realised the whole van smelt of mushrooms! Have fun!

Wowsers @EllaPaella - you are coming up here in a camper in October?! I hope you have a fab time - genuinely - but its cold, wet and windy just now, I do think you’ll need the radiator this time!

@Purplecatshopaholic yep we have just arrived after a 5 hour drive (got stuck in very slow moving traffic around Edinburgh). The village we are staying in (just one night as heading further north tomorrow) had its footbridge washed away in the storms last week and it's still very wet! Just got the van nice and cosy and about to start making a spag bol for when our friends arrive later this evening. Not cold as yet but glad we have the radiator as I think the evenings and mornings will definitely be chilly 🥶

The thread is making me realize how seldom it would actually be a good idea to post pictures of what I am wearing 😳

Forgot to post yesterday! Here's today's assortment of charity shop finds.

@EllaPaella I'm in the North East and the floods after the storm have been no joke. Lots of rivers have still got burst banks.

Oh dear aria 😅 is your wardrobe in need of a boost? I'm also a lurker on this thread.

@IndianSummer78 it's kind of a combination of

1. I work remotely
2. most of my up to date clothes are athleisure
3. I never throw anything away so a long tail of my wardrobe is a kind of museum of things I thought were in fashion any time this past 20 years
4. I could be more efficient with laundry so end up dipping into the forgotten part of the wardrobe more often than ideal

Bloody loooove it. @EllaPaella, I hope you are not getting washed away - the weather here (just outside Edinburgh) is truly awful just now - I hope further north is better for you! I am going out later so will sort out the clothes, lol - just back from a soggy (and short - my Spanish boys hate this weather!) dog walk. Slip dress from ASOS with an old hoodie (just love the colour) and boots from EMP.

@Purplecatshopaholic I think we have been very lucky- Cromarty was cold but dry, then rained on our last night there. Now in the Cairngorms and it's actually not too bad, has barely rained since we got here and forecast is cold, clear and sunny tomorrow!

Much colder than last October though so feeling very glad I bought the heater 🥶

Keeping is casual and layered today since we're off to the zoo with my dad.

As ways it's all from the charity shops.

Thanks for the jumper dress love @faffadoodledo and @Aria999 . I am wearing it again today....as a jumper tucked into my trousers  working from home today, so no one will know about me and my slovenly behaviour 

Thank you @Purplecatshopaholic . Sorry about the awful stormy weather up there. I have thought in the past that for all of the stormy weather that Scotland gets, it's got some incredible architecture, and not all projects were halted during the winter months.
