Handbag for a 21st birthday £100 budget?

My son's utterly lovely girlfriend is going to be 21 at the end of the month. I'd love to take her out for a posh(ish) lunch and then handbag shopping. I know my budget isn't the biggest (it's a tough year), but any suggestions/ recommendations for a good bag that will stand the test of time and make her feel special when she uses it?

I’m suspicious that that was the whole purpose of this thread, quite clever marketing and quite subtle if it was, but the longchamp was just mentioned too frequently for me, not something I see being used regularly by that age group.

Well the OP would get more money as an influencer on Instagram than asking for opinions on Mumsnet.

Youngest dd (19) borrows my pliage regularly and has asked for one for Christmas or birthday.

I literally see no one of any age with Longchamp Le Pilage bags. Even when I commute into London I don't see any.

It's weird how it always gets mentioned and yet I see no one using them.

@Yettisrus2 I see then all the time but often as a second bag. I guess maybe because they fold up?
