And I'm so excited, this never happens to me!

Was in a city I go to rarely, maybe 1-2 times a year. Had 15 mins to kill at a bus stop, charity shop right there, went in for a browse.

Found......... Johnstons cashmere cardigan, thick as anything, could be used instead of a coat it's that chunky and soft and weighty, 15 quid! 15 quid!

I've lusted after a really super thick, long, black cashmere for years and there it is in a charity shop 🙃

Bit of pilling but I can remove that.

Anyone else got anything amazing lately?

It is absolutely gorgeous but may I very strongly advise that you put it in the freezer for a couple of days just in case of moths? Once you introduce them to your wardrobe they are an absolute bastard to get rid of.

Oh, definitely, always do this with second-hand woollens. Just need to make some room in the freezer.

Not sure if they compare to the cashmere cardigan. Quite envious.
Just before Christmas, I got a long cashmere waistcoat from a known brand (poetry), to which someone had attached some hideous frills of polyester, for £2.50. A few minutes with a seam ripper and the waistcoat was gorgeous.
I gave it as a Christmas present and it was well received.
I've also found a couple of Johnstons merino cardigans for £2 each and a brora jumper (not cashmere) for £1 in the past.

What area are you shopping in?!!
